Yi Dance School

My family highly impressed by Yi Dance quality. Even going thru the Covid difficulties, my daughter still obtained distinction in both Chinese dance exam and RAD exams. She is very encouraged by her teachers and her achievement. She is now more interested than ever in dance.

I studied dance in Yi Dance for several years. YiDance has rigorous teaching and systematic curriculum. It is a very good place to learn dance.

I like this school in several ways,- good facilities, neat rooms with standard barre and dancing floor.- acdemic orientation, such as RAD exam system, not just providing rich content but also making student's development measureable. And encouraging everyone to improve dance ability step by step.- professional and nice teachers, although teachers may have different styles, they're all kind and try to give you everything, from technical details to expression etc.Lucky, I started at Yi dance and have been here for several years. I may not have experience at other dance schools, but I am happy being here.While I'm writing comments, I also took a look other reviews, More or less, school may has more potential to be better in the future.

As a parent with some dance history, I can see the teachers of Yi Dance School are real professionals. I mean REAL! After a lot of research, talking to friends, I put my two daughters into Yi Dance School. I am happy for my educated decision. Frankly, I am not surprised for my daughter's achievement in both Chinese Dance and RAD Ballet, because I knew they would do great at Yi Dance School.

As a photographer active in shooting dancers and theatre events, I observe that Yi Dance has been pursuing the best dancing art programs for all spectrum of ages and needs, and has made great effort to serve for the highest quality of dancing classes. Yi is probably the fastest growing Dance Academy in GTA areas, and has attracted top end dance teachers to teach in the academy.

Yi Dance is the best dance school I have ever attended. The teachers there are very professional and encouraging. As an adult student, I have benefited greatly from the dance training over the years and enjoyed each of the classes at Yi Dance.

I've been at so many dance schools in and around Toronto, but Yi Dance turned out to be the one- I've been going to it for 8 years now! They have a very organized teaching system ever since I've started, which makes you feel like you are prioritized at the school. More importantly, everyone takes things here seriously. Every single time you come, the studio is tidy and clean. The teachers are very professional and the studio provides personalized learning plans for each individual student. You can see the kids progress from amateur levels to amazing you with how they express themselves through their bodies. There is also a big sense of community at Yi dance where you feel like you belong. Strongly recommend this dance studio for your kids if you are searching for a dance school, or even yourself! I like Yi Dance School with my high respect. They are serious about teaching dance. Teachers are professional dance educators. I feel lucky for my girls to learn dance at Yi Dance. It is the best dance school and the best value!

Finding a good dance studio is hard for parents, although there are many studios. I think I am lucky to be introduced to Yi Dance by a friend of mine. Yi Dance has the best RAD teachers you can ever find. My daughter struggled in her previous studios and almost gave up dancing. After coming to Yi Dance with proper trainings, she received her Distinction in her RAD exam! I want to thank her teachers as well as the service members. Without their encouragement and professional work, my daughter may not dance any more.

This dance studio is the best decision I have made for children to learn dance. It's professional, period. My two daughters have improved considerably after dancing in other studios, in ballet and Chinese dance. It's a bit far for me, but it's definitely worth the drive. The quality and service at Yi Dance are the finest.
