I wonder if there could be a more useful place for new people in Canada. You can obtain necessary information in various fields such as language, culture, society, and jobs. Don't be afraid to knock on the door The kindest people there are waiting for you. Even if it doesn't give you the answers you need, it will teach you how to find them. It's really an oasis for newcomers and refugees.

Ummm.....I was geographically in the location of VIRCS today. So I did not go there.I was actually there because my white-indigenous companion spied the Shwarma Food Truck parked in the Victoria Immigrant and Refugee Centre parking lot.My friend says the guy who does the Shwarma (s)* is a refugee from Syria who used to be an engineer. The food (roughly translated to Donair-Kebab-Wrap-Falafel) sandwiches are at least a foot long and cost about $10 bux.French fries are cheap at $3 bux a serving and double fried. It is delectable food.Sadly, ViRCs is run and staffed by white-privileged people eking out a grant-funded status as settlement" workers. As I am in fact an informed immigrant

Gorgeous building at the corner of Government and Bay street. I love the plants growing up the walls, such a beautiful landmark on the edge of historic downtown Victoria. There's so much amazing history around the city- every building has a history

Every time I need assistance in my particular immigration case, for three and a half years now, I always go to VIRCS (Victoria Immigration and Refugee Center Society) to receive assistance and feel the passion with which all the professionals who work there and have assisted me have been exceptional. In particular, on this occasion I would like to thank Daria, Neil, Luis, Joshua and Iman.
