This place is a wonderful little secret. The clothing is beautiful and unique and masterfully tailored by the owner, Elaine. She will take a vintage piece that is perhaps unwearable in 2022, and transform it so that it is.Very environmental since it’s all pre-owned. My favourite clothing store. Prices are reasonable. Service is excellent.

Wow what an amazing store! Gorgeous clothes and amazing customer service.The owner is so friendly and a joy to talk to. She didn't bother me while I was browsing which I appreciated, and when we did chat she was so lovely!This is not a regular vintage shop. All the clothes have been almost totally taken apart, cleaned and put back together again, or restyled. Everything can be worn straight off the hanger. Considering this, the prices are also amazing! The alterations, cleaning and repair required for many vintage pieces would cost the same alone, and you would have to find them first!Also, amazing customer service! I bought a dress 40% on sale, and she totally re-sized the dress for only $20 of alternations. Addditionally, I am from out of town and she offered to mail the dress to me for free. When I called and told Elaine I had a formal event coming up, she sent it express post the next day at no charge!The shop owner also encourage me to email before I come next time so that she can put some things aside for me in my size before they get snapped up.I have a new favourite store, it is too bad I don't live in Montreal.

Fantastic little shop! The owner is lovely and has lots of creative ideas to alter clothes that you love but don’t fit you quite right. All the pieces felt very curated and well thought out, and overall it was a lovely shopping experience. You might need to call to enter the building if you go on the weekends, but it is well worth the trip! Can’t wait to see what new pieces they have next time I go in.

After being frustrated by the meager offerings and cheap quality downtown, I once more walked down to St-Henri to visit ERA. No matter what my budget is that month, I always find something to love. Dresses, work clothes, accessories, all in timeless style and impeccable quality, and usually cheaper than you'd pay for flavour-of-the-week styles a few blocks north. The owner, Elaine, is fantastic, and worth the trip all on her own!

Amazing curators and musicians Lindsey and Eric Heatherly have created something special and magical in the quaint town of Gallatin. The hand picked selection of 1940’s-1970’s treasures, clothing, furniture, and novelties will delight you and inspire you to add a little southern vintage flare to your life. I bought a cute women’s western shirt, which the owner originally purchased for herself. My husband got a great western shirt as well, and we got some novelty Dolly Parton and Fred Rogers mugs. I’m glad to have found this gem of a vintage store!

I bought a purse from here which I like a lot, but it has a missing strap. When I asked the owner about it, she first said it didn't come with one, until I showed her the hooks, then she said it was brand new" and that she just got it from an estate sale and that the previous owner never used it. Amazing store. When visiting Montreal Era is a must go! Era’s clothing have a vintage flare without without feeling outdated. The owner is wonderful, when the pants I was purchasing had a missing snap she gave me a discount and some fabric to fix! Highly recommend this store for any vintage lovers!
