Guerlain Spa at Hotel X Toronto

As a memeber at the 10X sports club, I frequently walked by Guerlain spa and couldn't resist the amazing smell. So I decided to try it. It was first class service from start to finish. There are so many great things about this spa that I can talk about. However. my favourite, are my facials done by Geeta, and I have had more than one. It is so relaxing, I always fall asleep and wake up refreshed with glowing skin. I will continue to be a client and highly recommend Guerlain Spa.

Today I experienced this luxury spa and I will tell you it was absolutely amazing. From the very beginning, I was greeted by the receptionist Bianca in a very friendly, welcoming manner. Then, I met my RMT Shana who made it quite the journey. She made it very exciting and adventurous with the select process for the oils. I am currently five month postpartum and I express my needs which she accommodate for me. After my massage was completed I was invited to relax in the lounge area where I given some sparkling wine, maroons, nuts and berries. All of this, I might address in a massage chair with heating options. I was told I could use the sauna or stream room but I need to get home to my little one. I was welcomed to use the showers. As I was checking out, my parking ticket was validated. I will say if you want to spend a little money more than I would highly recommend checking out this spa. I think I will be giving some hints to my husband my birthday lol.

The spa severely lack amenities. No hot tub, sauna, or pool. No access to beverages or snack food.I had to order a bowl of trailmix. No where to sit upright and enjoy a beverage. Compared to other luxury hotel spas in the city, I feel let down for the price I paid. One steam room that only has a high setting. Basic showers. Not to mention the description of the facial I booked did not match what I received. I booked a microdermabrasion facial and when I arrived the technician told me it's a face scrub. Paying $325.00 for a face scrub is absurd and I was deeply disappointed. The only positive was the kindness and professionalism of the staff there. Management should not include descriptions of facials and then tell me that what I booked costs extra. Will never return.

First off, I would like to say that this is a beautiful spa. The staff are also very friendly and accommodating. We arrived early so we could settle in. The steam room was wonderful and the eucalyptus scent was very soothing. We booked a couples massage (the 8) and manicures. We were greeted by our estheticians and brought in for our massages. We were present with four scents and were able to choose which one we wanted for our massage; I thought this was a nice touch. The massage to me was average; I have had much better at other spas. I could tell my esthetician really did try to get some of my knots out, but it just wasn’t as relaxing as I hoped. We were then brought to another room to do our manicures. During this time, our esthetician engaged in conversation with us and it was a good time. Although they were very nice, both of us felt like not enough care was put into our manicures. For a $95 manicure, I was very upset with how my nails looked (see attached picture). I do a much better job at home. When we were done, we were taken to a relaxation area with massage chairs. We were offered champagne and a mini tart and it was a wonderful way to end our spa day. When it was time to pay, I was surprised that we were not offered any products to sample/take home like other spas do. Especially for the price we paid. Overall, we had an average experience.

Excellent experience! My wife and I booked the couples relaxation massage and it was just that...very relaxing and enjoyable! As a person who receives regular massages I can tell you that the therapists were well trained and experienced. Book one, you won't regret it!

Great experience at the spa and very nice location. Even though I had high hopes with the facial, it didn’t do a lot for me.Will go next time for a massage treatment instead.

I stayed in Hotel X and had the massage. The decoration and services are at the high end of spa. The staffs are very nice and professional. After massage, I enjoyed a glass of prosecco and a mini dessert on a heated massage chair, while enjoying a beautiful view through the window.The price is quite expensive subject to the location. However, it is worth to try once to treat yourself better.

There is no denying this is an expensive spa experience, but I must say it was one of the best I have had in a long time, perhaps ever. I had a facial with microdermabrasion and body massage, and it was total relaxation. I think I was practically comatose at one point! lol. Geeta was amazing. I also appreciate no pushiness when it came to purchasing products. Suggestions were made but there was no hard sell. My skin looked fantastic afterward. Enjoyed a steam before my treatments and appreciated the offer of Prosecco when I was done. I'd have to save up to go again but would in a heartbeat.

I had a mani, pedi and scalp treatment with Geeta. She was amazing. I fell asleep during her scalp massage. My nails look amazing. Such a sweet person. She took her time didn't rush me and I was her last appointment of the day. She gave me great energy and service.
