World Peace Pavilion

In einer Vitrine werden Steine aus verschiedenen Ländern dieser Erde gezeigt.Wenn man wirklich viel viel Zeit hat, kann man den Pavillon besichtigen, zumal er in einem kleinen Park am Wasser steht.

If you happen to be at the Dartmouth ferry terminal you might as well wonder over and check out the peace pavilion. But it’s really just a small concrete amphitheatre that looks like a pyramid from the outside. Inside there’s a glass display case but the artifacts inside are basically meaningless. If anything this location is more of a curiosity than anything else. Even if I was looking for a place to eat a bag lunch, I’d choose a spot outside the pavilion since there’s more to look at. I would image that if you asked most people who live in Dartmouth where the Peace Pavilion is, they would have no idea what you are talking about.

Love this exhibit! The Ecuador submission is my favourite by far followed by Germany and Pakistan who seemed to have put in some thought behind their submissions.

Took the Ferry from Halifax over here. Nice little historical site with pieces of world wide structures and minerals. Even saw a piece of the Berlin Wall here. Enjoyed a peaceful walk.

Nice for a walk and playground for kids.
