Holiday Inn Express & Suites Slave Lake, an IHG Hotel
Terrible experience with our accommodations at this disgusting hotel. We were fortunate enough to find accommodations in slave lake due to grad celebrations, tournaments etc. people in front entrance drinking and entertaining friends. upon arriving in our room, strong smell of urine was noticeable in a pet friendly room. Then the doorbell outside our door was activated by children running around in hallway. Room looked clean until noticing blood stains on my bed sheets. Definitely not acceptable. Reported to operations manager and she gladly came to strip our bed and offer 50% off our room rate. She did what she could given the fact there were no other rooms available in slave lake or at this hotel. Phone in room was not working and discovered this when we were woken in the middle of the night with a fire alarm. There was no fire… terrible experience… rate this hotel 1 out of 5

Holiday Inn Express & Suites Slave Lake, an IHG Hotel
I was up there at Christmas to spend time with family, and decided to stay at the Holiday Inn. The staff was wonderful, the room was beautiful and well maintained. And wonderfully quiet! At breakfast, if they were low on something they quickly replenished it. I look forward to going up there again!
