Went in, talk to a nice polite man, some parts in stock, others would be ordered and in next day. I went in 2 days later and talked to a different very rude with major attitude. My parts were not in... computer glitch, ok it happens. I go back in about 5 days later, same rude man. Still no parts, he didn't order them because he said I was rude to him, mad and stormed out a week earlier. I did not, I walk out peacefully expecting my parts to be ordered. Probably had something to do with the smell of pot that surrounds this man.I left again today only to go to a different auto parts store and got a better deal on my parts.Courtenay Auto you lost $650.00 today.

Like the quest for the Holy Grail, I was trying to find something that was told in old tomes to have existed but remained a myth. People agreed that it surely must exist even though they have never seen one. It was a battery for a Ford Fusion Energi. How hard could that be?Hard.Of course Ford could get it for me. It's so rare though it would take 3-4 weeks to have it shipped up from some dark corner of a battery factory in the States. Lordco insisted they have it. It was in their system and had it for me the next day. Wrong battery. Canadian Tire, nope, doesn't exist. Generic battery shop that only deals with batteries, they send me on my way.Then, a miracle. I stepped into NAPA with despair: was I chasing after something that was never made 3rd party? Do I actually need to go to my dealer? I begrudgingly recounted my story to the NAPA salesman and he tip taps away on his keyboard. He tilts his monitor to me and asks, This the one?" I had said no so often I almost forgot how to say yes. It took them 20 seconds to solve the mystery of the one of a kind battery and had it to me the next day.And they have a military discount."

BEST PARTS SUPPLIER IN COMOX VALLEY HANDS DOWN! staff are all knowledgeable and great to deal with. they bring in hard to source parts no problem, and are always their to help when i have parts trouble. i'm just a small home based repair business but they treat me as if i was any other big shop. even shovelled snow from my driveway once when couldn't do it myself. highly recommended.
