Idlewyld Inn & Spa
One of my favorite restaurants in London, Ontario. Came with friends for Sunday brunch today, good food and nice environment as usual. Had to wait for 20 minutes before we got our coffee, I do have higher expectation for this classy place. Our waitress did try hard later on when the busy time was over. Not sure if the manager was available when she was struggling with the credit card machine. Hoping for improvement when I return.

Dined here for our anniversary and they were very accommodating of our allergies! My partner is allergic to dairy and I am allergic to gluten and they were super helpful with figuring out what menu items we could eat and substituting items that we couldn't out of the meals we wanted! Every item we had was delicious and the room we were in had a wonderful atmosphere.Katherine is a wonderful waitress and made the whole evening better!

My friend held her Bridal Shower at this Inn & Spa and it was perfect. The room that we had was exquisite, clean and very well-kept. They allowed us to decorate for the shower and make it extra special for the bride. And, the server we had was very polite, kind and professional. Thank you Idlewyld Inn & Spa!

Beautiful old inn with all the amenities for a lovely stay. Large, clean and well appointed rooms. Dining room(s) are charming and refined. Received exceptional service from ladies in the dining room for both lunch, cocktails and breakfast service. Above and beyond care and attention really made our stay (group of 4 women)warm, welcomed and special.Extra details for our Birthday girl made the experience unforgettable. Jacquie and Michelle are treasures. Thank you!!!

The Idelwyld Inn is one of our favorite local getaways and our recent stay was fantastic. Our room was absolutely spotless, well stocked, and had a great view out the front of the Inn. We ordinarily book a room with a jacuzzi tub but they were unfortunately sold out this time. We encountered incredibly friendly staff at the front desk and check in and out was a breeze. I have given service a 4 star only because the service we experienced in the restaurant wasn’t the greatest. If you need a relaxing night away I would recommend the Idlewyld Inn for sure! TIP- The Idlewyld Inn gift cards at Costco are an excellent gift for family and friends, or a way to save for your own night away. $80 will get you a $100 gift card which is a great savings.

I went here for a relaxing evening with family and that's exactly what I got!Katherine was a lovely waitress, very cheerful and friendly.The meal was superb; as well as beautifully arranged.Also loved the atmosphere!

6 years ago. Preparing and taking of wedding photos was accomplished. Then after a church wedding and reception, my new wife and her new husband returned to Idlewyld Inn, to begin our honeymoon of 6 years, so far.This evening we returned another time (not our first, to say the least), this time for dinner, to celebrate, and to reminisce, and to rejoice.Dinner was most scrumptious, as expected and again, delivered. Our hostess was charming and sweet and very appreciated. She definitely added to the charm of the place and the ambiance of the room, and the pleasure of the meal. There was no room for dessert.We plan to return.It's worth, returning to such good food, and good service, and a great place.Reservations are recommended.

One of the top spots for fine dining in the city. The place has a unique and vintage looks from the outside and inside. Its a hidden location next to a residential area. Food was excellent for dinner timing. Liver fat was a spot on. Lamb was great. Service excellent. Good wine selection to choose from. The restaurant is part of a hotel and spa. Recommend to visit the spot

Awesome place! Our favorite place for a short getaway in London or to celebrate. We love fine dining at the restaurant. Meals are always fabulous. Love the quaint rooms and the historic character of the inn. Nice full buffet hot breakfast included with your stay. Booked the Romantic Package - the chocolate dipped strawberries and Prosecco were fabulous. Great night away!

went here for a few days for my 25th birthday with my boyfriend and it was the worst experience we've ever had. Restaurant service was awful, food wasn't good and we were treated awful compared to those seated around us. The inn itself is extremely old, loud, creaky and not clean. Our doorknob was broken as we tried to get into our room everyday and anyone walking in the halls would wake us up throughout the night as you could hear everything through the walls. We booked a couples massage and they only offer a relaxation massage, so we both walked out of there still feeling stiff and sore. Would not return or suggest this place to anyone.
