Dr. Alam was excellent and I was able to have 3 biopsies completed immediately after my appointment without waiting. The staff who did my biopsies was very efficient, kind and knowledgeable.SimcoDerm is a very busy clinic but they seem to look after their patients as timely as they can. I have been going here for several years and I always leave feeling in good hands.

The nurse was friendly and checked in with me frequently to ensure my comfort during my biopsy. She was only able to do a biopsy on two moles. The third means another appointment with the doctor.The front desk staff’s customer service leaves something to be desired (individual on the right facing them). She gave me a difficult time about moving my two upcoming appointments to be on the same day to save me travelling to Barrie. I was able to get them on the same day, but they had to be two hours apart!

The saff is very efficient and helpful. The RN (Vicki) I think, was very good , explained everything as she was doing it, and explained the after care as well. The Dr who saw me at first could do with a little better bedside manner but obviously knew what she was doing.

When I visited SimcoDerm this past week I was there for my own appointment but had to change a date and time for my husbands next appointment. SimcoDerm was very accommodating to make it possible for my husband to come in on the same date and time of my next appointment, saving us an extra trip in from Orillia. We really appreciate it.Sandy

I was in this morning for 5 biopsies with a nurse named Alex. She was excellent in explaining everything before she did it so I knew what to expect. She was so calm and proficient, it really put my mind at ease. She also took the time to explain aftercare for the biopsy sites which I appreciated. Thank you Alex!

Very appreciative that this facility exists to care for patients North of the GTA. I do have some positive and negative remarks: Why does it take two months now to get skin biopsy results when it used to take 2-3 weeks and why can results not be phoned to me as they were last year?The parking lot rates are very expensive: $11 for a 15 minute checkup (yes I was seen by the doctor an hour later than my booked time, yes I know you’re very busy).The biopsy nurses continue to be the best part of this centre. Special mention to Alex and Dawn who are courteous, professional and efficient and still know how to smile in this busy facility.
