From checked up routine turned into admit at triage for a week. Luckily the covid policy has just changed so my husband can visit me daily for two hours by booking a visit appointment. Every Doctors that involved with my cases did their best for me, they came visit me daily for checking up and explanation to clarify ours questions. All nurses and every staffs are so nice, friendly and helpful. Every morning after the kitchen staff dropped off breakfast, the other kitchen staff called to let me know lunch and dinner options then I choose one I like also I could request special diet too! There was cleaning lady come to clean my room everyday, she is nice and friendly.Last, the nurses they all are nice, helpful and friendly. Thanks to all these nurses who taking good care of me; Dorris, Selina, Teresa, Anna and Alex. They comforted me and talked so I don’t feel bored and lonely (due with Covid policies, no visitor allowed). I know the covid situation make everyone life harder and these healthcare staffs get to work more harder. I really appreciate their work and their sacrifice to all patients!

Had my first born here and I have nothing but respect for the staffs here. They were extremely helpful and encouraging during my journey becoming a father. I would like to give a shout out to the UK nurse, one of the nurse caring for my wife during labor, she was helpful, kind, and encouraging during the difficult times. I want to wish you the best and thank you in person but unfortunately we did not see you again after the 1st day =(. Thank you Poland Native.P.S. I did not mention your name to respect your privacy. I hope you can call Toronto your home because we could use more people like you here :)

I'm a newly post partum mother of 9 days. I developed soreness, redness and inflammation in a vein in my calf so I called triage to see if anything can be done overnight and if there was an extensive wait seeing I am breastfeeding and can't be away from my baby for long. Unfortunately the lady at reception couldn't give me an answer and just advised for me to go in. NOTE: Earlier in the day after seeing my GP she gave me a requisition to have an ultrasound done at a local lab but *thought* going to obstetrical triage would speed things up in case it was something more serious than suspected. So off I went. I waited 5 HOURS.....5 LONG HOURS only to be seen by a resident Dr. and be told that unfortunately nothing could be done overnight and that I needed to come back in the morning for an ultrasound. Shortly after arriving there I told them that I was a nursing mother and needed to get back home asap which clearly fell onto deaf ears. My question is why on earth was I simply not told that an ultrasound could not be done until the morning when I first called triage????? I initially explained my issue when I first called in and the receptionist told me that she wasn't sure if an ultrasound could be done overnight but advised to come in just the same. Why did she not inform herself whether or not an ultrasound can be done?!?!?!?!?! ASK for goodness sake! Instead of me wasting my valuable time away from my newborn who needed to be fed! How can you do this to a new mom and her baby?!?!?!?! Absolutely no compassion! I cannot tell you how upset and deeply disappointed I am with triage. I wish they'd have more compassion and understanding in certain situations instead of putting someone through hell when it could have been easily handled far more quicker than it was. Absolutely shameful in my opinion.

Useless TriageNever answer their phones even if your in so much pain and trying to get to your dr ... never recive a useful help!!!!!! The Asian nurse i was seen by on Sunday was very rude, so busy and very uncompassionate. Doesn't give you a chance to explain your pain. My husband was sitting on the bed and I was using the chair as their beds are so uncomfortable. She came in saying these beds are only for patients. I requested another chair so my husband can use, I was told they don't have any. Very rude nurse. If my the Dr i follow up from the beginning is not there, I'd never step in this hospital ever againJust a name nothing else !!!!!!!Rude staffUnqualified staffWorst bedside manners
