I didn’t think it was possible but after 47 years of styling my curly hair I was finally shown how to do it properly to get the best out of my curls. Sara showed me how to apply the product and how much to use. My curls have never looked better. Thank you so much!

I am thrilled with how my hair turned out! Sheradan is super knowledgeable about cut, colour, and styling for curly hair and has made me love my curls again. She’s super sweet and did an amazing job start to finish. Great consultation to understand my hair routine and how we can go about getting the colour and look for my hidden highlights I was aiming for. She gave me lots of tips and tricks to get my curls to look beautiful. I’ve been trying the tips and tricks Sheridan gave me, and already noticing a difference. It’s the first time I went to a salon where I was actually understood about wanting volume and adding some highlights that won’t damage my curl pattern. The operation manager (Ky) is also awesome! She was very communicative and helped work around my schedule to get me in for an appointment and booked my next one as well. Really happy to have discovered this salon and cannot wait to come again!

There are no words to describe how committed I am to this salon. For years I have been unhappy with my curls and the cuts I've been getting until my cousin recommended me this salon. It has been a game changer! They've taught me how to apply curls products properly, which ones to use on my curl type and in which order. I've always kept my hair long because I didn't think I could pull off short hair, yet alone curly bangs because as a woman with curls, if cut incorrectly, curly bangs can look horrendous. But I was WRONG! For the past little while, Sarah has been taking my hair from shoulder length to chin length AND WITH BANGS! when I got home and when I went into work a few days later, I could not stop getting complimented on my short hair! Everyone loves it, everyone has told me to never grow it out again! I feel the most beautiful now than I ever have before. My curl formation is back again! I'm so, so HAPPY! if you have curly hair and are looking for a place to get your curls back in shape, this is the place to go, hands down, the best!

I love Curl Ambassadors, the people who work there are so kind, and I always leave feeling beautiful as well as lighter, these women are hair artists. I look forward to my appointments, and it feels so relaxing there. My hair always looks better than when I came it. If only my hair could look like this every day, healthy and in beautiful ringlets, and so, so, soft. If I could give a million stars, I would.

They tried to charge me an extra $40 for my daughters hair texture, which is a 4b I believe. They’re supposed to be experienced with her type of hair and confidently told me over the phone that they know all curl types!They gave me no forewarning, they did not communicate in advance, and tried to surprise me with the additional cost when I walked to the cash register. They said they wanted to charge me for the “extra product”. I overheard the hairdressers whispering in their back room. They knew they could not charge me for extra time because it did not take them extra time. I declined to pay the extra.Then they said they’re going to place a note on my file for next time. I did not like how they handled the situation, and I will not be going back there.

I visited the Pickering location with the hopes of reviving my curls and adding some more bounce and volume. Sara did an amazing job cutting, bringing life to, and educating me about my curls. I definitely recommend The Curl Ambassadors for anyone with curly hair (long or short...my hair is long) and looking to liven them up or maintain them. I have always struggled to find a great place to cut my hair (especially as a kid) and this place does not disappoint. Thankyou for a great experience :)

I had a wonderful experience here. Sara was so nice and very knowledgeable. Every step on how my hair was treated was explained to me and the curl care plan they gave me at the end was a nice touch. I would definitely recommend anyone with curly hair (whether you have a current hair routine or not) to give them a try!

I don’t normally post reviews but I had to share my experience here at this salon. Despite customer service being lovely and the salon being a modern setting, If you know how take care of your curls, you will waste your money if you choose any service from this establishment. Maybe it was my mistake or the website is misleading but as a first time customer I was under the impression my cut, shape and style was $40 plus taxes….to my dismay I was charged $165. On top of a tip I gave my stylist. All for a mediocre cut, basic wash and a “style” I absolutely could’ve achieved at home with a diffuser, pik and a good hair butter. I sat in my car after the service and really analyzed on what my stylist did….my hair felt thinner then when I came and despite calling the salon multiple times plus leaving a voicemail after I left, I got no call back. I feel a bit deceived and my hair is 3/10 at best after said stylist “shaped it”. Also charged me a random $5 for a clarifying shampoo, which was never mentioned. You could get a better result from a YouTube tutorial. Absolutely not worth $200.

I have been going to curl ambassadors for approximately 8 years !! They have amazing knowledge on curly hair and really care to you're needs! My curls have continued to thrive! The staff and hair stylists are super friendly and knowledgeable! You have to check them out! You won't be disappointed! :)
