It’s rare these days to find someone as honest and as full of integrity as Henry. He came by for an assessment and although we didn’t end up needing any services, we were very impressed with him. Very organized group of people who did a great job removing our drywall. They know what they are doing and it shows across everyone in the organization you speak with.

Nice people, but did not assess current state of attic insulation correctly (put R-20 when I had R-40!). This resulted in a $650 loss as I was ineligible for the gas company grants. When discussed with them, they stood by their inaccurate assessment, provided no pics, did not respond in time for me to make a case for the rebate, and then blamed COVID for not being able to send emails? When asked to show empathy and for some reimbursement due to their negligence, they left me hanging. Nice people but there must be outfits who will take better care of their customers when carrying out this type of work.

We found the service and communication to be excellent. Henry quoted us in detail for asbestos removal and reinsulating.On the first day of service Mike and his team arrived on time. They spent a lot of time setting up barriers and doing everything they could to protect our home. They were so hard working in extremely hot weather. We couldn't have been happier with Healthy Environmental and thoroughly recommend them.

Healthy Environmental messed up my attic, causing me over $5,000 in damage.Healthy Environmental came to top-up my attic insulation to a higher R value. They sprayed insulation everywhere, including blocking all the soffit venting so air could not get out. This created a humidity sauna in my attic, causing mold, and even doing damage to the roofing plywood. We only noticed it once nail rust started oozing out of the siding.When Healthy Environmental came to look at it, the owner Henry agreed that the insulation should not have been covering the soffits, and said he would look over his notes to see what the agreement had said (did he think we asked him to cover up the airflow?). He refused to refund us the payment, refused to take any blame, and tried to offer us a at cost mold remediation" - only that doesn't solve the wet insulation that needs to be removed and replaced

We are so pleased with the overall experience and results. The entire team was thoroughly professional throughout the process and the onsite crew were very professional, polite and kept the job site very clean. We went from an under-insulated, moldy and asbestos contaminated attic to having a very clean, R60 insulated and safe attic. The price was very competitive as we pursued multiple estimates before selecting Healthy Environmental. Henry took the time to explain the process in detail which provided comfort and confidence this issue would be properly managed. We highly recommend Healthy Environmental services.

Upon selling our home in 2019, we learned from buyer getting inspection that there was a strange piece of material" in a crawlspace basement. Turned out to be asbestos. We had to have proof of proper removal and disposal. And Health Environmental came to our rescue. While here they also fixed a bathroom fan issue and after they were done- it was spotless and clean. Service was professional and I would absolutely recommend them!"

We had Mike and Henry come in to our home to assess our mould issue in the attic. The suggested a treatment and to add more ventilation which they would do. This treatment cost us $2400 taxes included. Well 6 months later the mould treatment all pealed off and we only found this out when we put the house up for sale and the buyers inspector found the issue. The buyers told us they did not want Healthy Environmental back in to the house to fix the issue as they did not trust them. They also amended there offer buy $5000. So we had to take a $5000 loss plus the $2400 we spent 6 months earlier. We asked for a refund and explained the buyers did not want them back in the house. We tried for 5 weeks to get a response from them and they would not return our calls or emails. Then 5 weeks after the initial contact we get a letter from them stating they will not be refunding us our money and that they had provided a solution that would have worked. The only solution they provided was taking our money and running! Do not I repeat DO NOT use this company for any work on your house!

Sadly we cannot recommend Healthy Environmental. We needed mould removed from the attic and a crawlspace. Henry came along and spent 1.5 hours at the house, inspecting at no cost, which was a great start. He's a friendly, helpful guy and we thought we had signed with a good company, but when it came to his team doing the remediation it all began to go wrong. The main issue was lack of communication and care for our home and our health.

We recently hired Healthy Environmental to do vermiculite asbestos removal from our attic in a older home we had just purchased.We wanted to add insulation to our attic and were told that we would need to be certified as asbestos free before any work could be done. I called Henry and he came to our house to do an inspection. We did have vermiculite asbestos and it needed to be professionally removed. The quote they provided was reasonable and competitive with others. After the asbestos abatement, they blew new insulation into our attic so that it was up to code.Henry and Mike provided so much advice and support. I know I had numerous questions and phone calls and probably got on their nerves :) They were so helpful and we really appreciated their support during a very stressful time for our family.We are so pleased with the work and to have peace of mind that we are now asbestos free. The crew were polite, friendly and professional, and the work was done with care. They also provided great written and photo documentation of the entire process.I would definitely recommend their services to anyone with a similar situation. You will be glad you hired them.
