Can't comment about the doctors but the administrative experience is terrible.1. Follow ups are done via a third-party website (pomelo) which has a buggy registration process2. The staff give you no instruction about how the referral process is handled. Only after the fact did I learn it was up to me to chase down that referrals actually went through. They'll follow up after a month!? They laughed that a referral will take a month at least. Terribly unprofessional. I'm lucky I followed up when I did.3. Even then, they throw the responsibility of chasing down their poor referral process back to the patient. you have their number

Not really sure what the negative reviews are about. Clinic contacted me within 1 day of leaving a message. I was able to book a consultation, and got a call to remind me of my appointment the day before. Super friendly and helpful.

I’ve been here for a repeating service and although the service is fine, I’ve had to go elsewhere to complete my treatment. The receptionist never answers the phone. You constantly get an automated message saying they answer phones between certain hours, but reaching a human is almost impossible. I left a message 2 weeks ago and never heard back, I’ve called back since and always reach the auto message. Thankfully I’ve found another clinic where booking an appointment is easy.

worst ever experience! they burned my face !!!not because of a mistake!it is because they meant to try on it , and not thinking about the results or consequences of it.- i am serious! they burned my face!it’s been since 6 years , and still my skin is damaged !!!

Worst ever dermatology clinic...I have been living in a depression for over 3 years until now because of them and their dishonesty in their work and their consultation.. they got my skin very thin ( my face ) which reflects on an exhausted look ... i have been out of Canada for over two years , and i am thinking of going back just to sue them, so they don’t do this to others.Because of course at the beginning you would think that they know what they are doing , but you won’t be satisfied with the results due to their most interest which is ( MONEY ) .I do not recommend anyone to consulate them in any dermatology work even if the work not in the same clinic.Im speaking from a real experience,You will regret any dermatology consultation from them .The worst event that ever happened to me is by this clinic.Imagine it was in 2017, and i still have the worst results, which can’t be fixed ! So it sticks for the whole life !Worst ever!

I have never been to a better Dermatology Clinic. I have been dealing with extremely bad eczema flare ups for the past 3 years. It got so bad that in October I was hospitalized and had to have an IV antibiotic to clear it up. I have been passed around between walk-ins and dermatologists with nothing more than a you have to replace x hygiene product with y hygiene product". Dr. Sutherland knew instantly what medication to put me on to clear my flare ups to the point where they only come if I have a stressful day. Not only did she do that but she booked me in for patch testing to find out what my problem actually is. I just finished my second day of patch testing and found out I have a very strong reaction to Nickel and a few other things.I cannot recommend Dr. Sutherland and the rest of the staff here enough."

Over the past ten years I have been going for Botox and Fillers, I am so happy to have discovered Atlantic Skin, Dartmouth. The best ever. I have never had a bruise or an uncomfortable experience what so ever. Dr. Gallant and the staff are just the greatest. Give them a try!

I have been going to Atlantic Skin Care clinic for 8 years. Every visit has been professional, with very experienced professionals. Dr. Baxter is the absolute BEST! Her knowledge, skill and her gentle approach is second to none! I have NEVER had a negative experience from booking appointments to attending appointments. Botox, fillers, peels, laser treatment for skin issues and tattoo removal. I would recommend this clinic any day!

Have been fortunate enough to be Dr.Baxter's patient over 20 years.She is smart, caring, and I cannot say enough good things about her.She is the best!

Dr. Burns is wonderful, however, the clinic's retention policy is appalling. After finally securing placement after a nearly two year waitlisted referral, you're immediately dropped as a patient, without notice, after SIX MONTHS if another appointment isn't voluntarily scheduled. Circulation of a reminder or retention warning message to patients, at a minimum, should be a logical part of their policies and procedures.
