About 2 months ago I ordered for 15 people(rice & peas, fried chicken, jerk pork and macaroni salad) and it was a huge hit ! I re-ordered 2 weeks ago for another party ( different crowd) and again positive feedback all around.The service was great each time. Very accommodating and portions larger than I expected. Food was hot and fresh.I live up in Shelburne and it’s worth the drive. I will be going back for future events as well as one off lunches or dinners.Thank you and keep up the great work.

I’ve only tried Nella’s since it was taken over by new management but, i have to say I’m very impressed. I wanted to try everything on the menu before leaving a review and i can confidently say, this food is made with love and passion. Everything I’ve tried, I’ve really enjoyed. There’s so much flavour in every item. It always tastes fresh. Even the pleasant and welcoming energy of the new owners is wonderful. The store itself has a very positive vibe as soon as you walk in. I look forward to making Nella’s my go to spot when I’m in Orangeville.

I got the large jerk chicken and pork with rice & peas and coleslaw for both. Both dishes were very delicious and meat was tender. Coleslaw tastes amazing! Perfect sweet and creamy compliment to the spicy and savoury jerk.

I had the large Fried Chicken with rice and peas and it was to die for! The chicken was crispy on the outside and well cooked and moist on the inside. Very flavourful with generous portions. The rice and peas was fluffy and fresh and the steamed vegetables was tasty. The new owners are very friendly and welcoming as well. I will definitely be visiting again soon!

1 star is being generousSecond time giving this place a try and will not return.Food was AWFULRice was stale and hardPork was chewyJerk chicken had more bones in it then meatAnd the pathetic macaroni salad smelt like gym socksWould’ve called to complain but customer service sucked when we called and picked up so didn’t even botherWent straight in the trash where it belonged ($35 later)

I would give this restaurant a 4 star but I’m told bones in the chicken is traditional in the serving. Other than that, the food here is amazing. Myself and my friends love coming here. Friendly staff and fantastic service. Keep up the great work!

This place is trash!Please don’t go here.I ordered jerk chicken and oxtail. The rice was stale and crunchy. The overall taste was 3/10.The guy at the counter was not friendly at all.Advise to the owner: Please shut this place.

Friendly staff and it ends there.I ordered jerk chicken and I had to throw it out the rice was dry and hard the warm macaroni salad smelled and tasted spoiled chicken was also dry. I tasted it and was afraid of food poisoning.

Oh my goodness, we tried Nella’s Jerk tonight and it was so good! We loved the stuffed Pattie’s, the patty filling is so smooth - just like we’ve had in Jamaica! Tia and Barry are amazing!! Highly recommend the jerk pork with rice and beans as well!!!!

Came 2hrs before they closed on a weekday. Ordered Jerk chicken and asked for extra sauce. Chicken bones smashed into many pieces was annoying to eat and there was literally no extra sauce. The mac salad is also dry and flavorless I didn’t mind since they only give you dipping sauce worth of it anyways. Probably won’t come back - nice new staff tho.
