Stayed with our trailer for 3 nights. Best thing was the friendliness of the seasonal people. Really need to upgrade the suspect electrical for the rv sites. Pool was really nice though.

We loved staying at Winterbay! It was extremely clean, comfy beds, and everything you need. The cottage was sooo cute! It is a perfect location to the beaches in PEI and not a far drive from Charlottetown and other key spots of the province. Our host was very nice too. We will be back and can’t wait :)

It was not what we expected, so I want to share so people don't have the same experience. It is a dates campground, with few amenities. I brought my paddleboard, and was disappointed when you cannot access water from this campground - my main reason for booking. The cabin was pretty sparse, with minimal accommodations, we sat outside as much as possible as it was such a tight space. The doors slammed, the neighbours are very close - ours decided to scream at her kids for hours on end. For the money we paid per night, I would go elsewhere, the value is not there.

Nice grounds and service, but Airbnb's, as another person's home/cottage, should theoretically have more housewares and chairs for the advertised 6 person capacity. Wifi was slow (<2Mb), but good to have for a campground.

It is situated right on the bay with a gorgeous view and is close to all amenities such as the National Park, Stanhope Golf and country club, and very conveniently located only a couple of kms off the Rails to trails and 20 minutes drive to Charlottetown. The owners and seasonal campers are like a big family that welcomes everyone!!! Happy Camping!

Found them via Airbnb. The owner was friendly and helpful. The site is clean and well maintained. Lots of mosquitoes in the evening. On the plus side we saw a fox, twice.

I will never stay there at winter bay campground after being turned away the night of hurricane Dorian. When we were gonna stay with family and I also told the family members that we won't be back to that campground .

Quaint... clean ... beautiful view , but no available drinking water for unserviced tent sites or any place to wash dishes etc

This campground seem to be the place to go for local low-lifers. People drink and smoke in the pool, and others will use power tools to cut wood at night. There is no camp store and you'll need to call in upon arrival. However, the place is not busy and you'll have a lot of space to play on the grass. It is also decently priced.
