I ordered a couple of festive specials for a virtual family dinner as Swiss Chalet was a favourite of my late mother-in-law. Online ordering was easy enough, and I checked in to have the order brought out to my car.The woman who did so told me that the wine we ordered was out, and had a substitute bottle, which she couldn't remember the name of - this was fine, as was the wine. There was no stuffing with either meal, though, which we were looking forward to (the rest of the food was as expected, though).I tried to fill out the feedback form (hosted by Zendesk) on my phone when I found this out, but I encountered errors trying to upload photos and submit. Apparently it did submit, but my dinner was cold by the time I got to it. The response I received asked for information that was either provided in the initial form or should have been obtainable with the order number, and just said they'd ask the kitchen to pay more attention. A continual disappointment...

Word of warning.. What you order on the web site and what you receive are not the same product. We ordered the hot roast beef sandwich..no gravy was included. We ordered the green beans both ala carte and in my roast beef dinner and they were simply under cooked cut green beans, no seasoning whatsoever. I called and was told that they don't COME with anything on them and after being told that the gravy was missing I had to explain 3 times that we should have received one for each dinner AND the one we ordered ala carte but only received 2 and that the website says the beans are WHOLE (see photo) and come sauteed in garlic dressing.. we were then told I'll speak to my manager

Ordered a kale chicken Cesar salad to go through the drive through. Came with no chicken and no utensils or napkins. Just a plastic tray of romaine salad.Completely unacceptable! Wont eat here again.

Went to this location to try it instead of the one at SEC. The service was curt, and my chicken came out cold and overcooked, while my friends fish came burned a shade of brown reserved for coffee, not for fish. I sent mine back while my friend actually ate his. I will stick to another location next time. The one thing I have come to expect from well cooked simple chicken. Sadly this is not the location for that.

Shared good food with friends here Easter weekend. Jennifer super friendly and knows menu and how to treat a customer. She made the food here a super wonderful experience, and took a photo too! So happy to have gone here with friends while this server was on staff. The spacious and welcoming decor were also a treat, just like a swiss villa! And the food was enjoyed by all!

Food was phenomenal for the most part. Service was friendly, prompt and accurate. My only complaint is the chicken was a tad dry for me. That can be easily attributed to a busy kitchen however, and it wasn't so dry as to be poor in taste. An 85% for me, would definitely come back

Very good service but I was disappointed with the meal. The food came out way too quickly, ribs were quite gristly and could have been much hotter. Did not compare well to the food quality at other locations. If the food quality matched the service quality it would have been a much better experience

Me and my boyfriend ate here yesterday after getting some bingsoo next door. Patrick greeted us at the entrance and served us the rest of the time we were there. He was a very kind and helpful server! He made sure all our needs were met and that we were comfortable during our stay. Our food was crazy delicious and came out within 5-10 minutes... fall off the bone ribs, juicy chicken, and crispy but soft fries. I must say I regret not coming here sooner and that Swiss chalet is highly underrated. If you're looking for an affordable place to go out to eat this is your best bet. Me and BF only spent about $25 for the both of us and left very full. Thank you for being so kind to us, Patrick! Hope you're having a good day :)

I ordered dinner from here last night directly through the Swiss chalet call centre. I got two quarter chicken dinners and an order of spring rolls. The food we received was nothing like any other Swiss chalet I have ordered from in the city. It was DISGUSTING, I am truly not exaggerating. Everything was stale and hard, it tasted like it had been sitting out for a long time. The spring rolls we ordered were burnt and black in the middle and were swimming in grease. The container had more than half an inch of grease swimming around in there, when I dared to take a bite grease just exploded in my mouth. I had to throw everything away.Do not order from this location, they do not care about their food if they are willing to serve customers the absolute slop they served me last night. If you do, at least order through skip the dishes because they care about customer service. Sinc I dealt with Swiss chalet directly they did absolutely nothing for me. I just had to go without dinner that night.

It's the same menu and Swiss Chalet food is good, but restaurant ambience was just plain sad. Decorated like something from the 70's. If that counted for first impressions, this place would get a 0. Place was dead, no music, nothing appealing from that standpoint. And....I enjoy Swiss Chalet, but won't return to this location.
