Mi Casa Mexicana
A cuisine from the centre of Mexico, home made and perfect seasoning. I can totally recommend it because the traditional recipe in flavours and the amazing dishes. The prices are excellent, is vancouver!. It will not be my last time here and 100% recommended.

We came here for a friends bday who is obsessed with Mexican food. He told us this place is reportedly the most legit. WELL IT WAS FREAKING SO YUM!I think for me the tamales took the cake. I recommend anything here! It even works for someone who is lactose intolerant like me

Where do I even startThe birria bowl was very tasty, it had all the right spices. The portion was decent and it was hot.The guac was the best one I had, i think it was a mix of guac and pico.Very friendly staff.My only recommendation is to work on the signage at the front door.

Mi Casa Mexicana
We've been meaning to come here for a while and were quite pleased. Good location with a view of 4th ave, friendly attentive service and very delicious food. We had the traditional tamales which neither of us had tried before. We loved it. We also got a quesabarria and the tacos birri and they were also great. Meal portion seemed about right and price is about average for the area.

Another beach day at Jericho and a search for tacos after. This time my girlfriend and I went to MI Casa on West 4th.The location is at the corner of burrard and west 4th. Park on 4th where there is lots of meter parking. The entrance is on the burrard side. You climb a set of stairs to get to the second floor venue. Watch out on the way in or you will end up in the tattoo shop underneath.We shared a tequila lime Margherita which was excellent.For dinner we had tried a quesadea platter of 3, a taco Platter of 3, and an enchiladas dish.The quesadea we had chicken, beef, and pulled pork. This was excellent and our favorite dish.The soft tacos were tasty and good size we had a beef taco, and 2 different types of pork. They were good but not as good as the quesedia.Finally we shared the enchiladas. Which came with 3 as well as rice and beans. These were chicken and were a touch dry. The green sauce was ok but this dish was on the bland side.The service was ok and the venue was large and clean. We went on a Sunday around 7pm. The place was half full. The food came out quick and the staff gave us everything we needed.The place had a fairly large menu and it looks like they do large families or parties well.$$

There are a lot of mexican restaurants in Vancouver, but would have to say that so far this is my favorite!The food is authentic Mexican food, and as good as it gets.Specially the salsas, they're very good and they do have a lot of options!So definitely a place to go!

It was a good overall experience, the quesadillas were the best, well served, the chicken mole tamal had really good taste, first time trying pozole not bad but not my favorite and finally the flan dessert had a different flavor that I am not used to but it was ok. The servers are very friendly and fast. I guess the prices are the same as other Mexican restaurants. I went on a Saturday night and the place was very busy so reservations are highly recommended.

Had the tacos and the birria. Both tasted good but the tacos are a bit too pricey for the quantity
