Shoppers Drug Mart

I tried to return one item that I bought it same day in different store， but a cashier refused, saying my receipt showed thatI bought it from another shoppers drug mart, not from their store. When she saw my confused face said“you know every shoppers drug mart has a different boss”. I will never go to this shoppers drug mart again.( P.s. I went to bur oak shoppers drug Mart to return my item. Their service attitude is much much much better…）

Do you enjoy waiting in line for 20+ minutes while 3-4 staff members stand at computers or wander aimlessly and don't acknowledge you? Do you like waiting on hold for 20+ minutes only to be disconnected? Do you like waiting in a big line at the Pick Up counter while a staff member stands at the Drop Off counter doing literally nothing? If so, then I strongly recommend this pharmacy. If not, may I recommend going literally anywhere else?

Easily the worst managed pharmacy's I've ever been to. Today there is one cashier, 3 people in line, and the people at cash need a consultation on the meds. No problem. Move them to the consultation desk and keep the line moving. It's not hard. Instead you have people losing their minds standing for 20 mins with kids and 4 staff members with their faces buried in their screens pretending not to see the customers. I'm done with this place.

Worst pharmacy ever. Literally no service. Nobody picks phone and I have had to ensure all the ordered medicines are fulfillef. Every time, one or the other medicine was not included.

Poor consultation service from the pharmacist. I showed a surgical scar gel sheet product photo that my physiotherapist recommended for a healing aid then for 3 minutes debating me why it is not efficient before finally pointing me to where they sell it. Also defaming me for not knowing what kind of scar definition I had before showing her, she didn’t want to see it either. She got more defensive in her talk when I mentioned “physiotherapist”, lost in her ego. Thank you to the kind lady who was in line behind me after overhearing the talk sharing guidance from her personal surgical scar healing experience with me. Reading other reviews, I am definitely not the only one coming back with a poor experience from this pharmacist.

I had an extremely unpleasant experience at the pharmacy today.My doctor had recommended a coupon for me to use for one of my perscriptions. I brought in an electronic copy. The staff member assisting me wouldn't look at it. She insisted that it had already been applied. I had to explain they were processing it through my insurance plan. She then tried to brush me off, and said they couldn't just hand out the medication and that I couldn't just go to every pharmacy to get freebies" at this point she hadn't looked at the coupon at all.I had to explain my financial situation before she would even attempt to look at the coupon. In front of the line up of other people. Then she claimed the coupon was not valid as I have insurance which isn't stated anywhere on it.The entire experience was frustrating

I strongly recommend to avoiding this place. This place sells fake gift cards! We brought 3 $50 Esso gift cards at this store, and only one card can use at the gas station, another 2 cards says no money! We went back to the store the cashier told me the gift cards are not exchange and return, gave me the number to call the customer care! At the meantime I figured out the back of the gift cards have fake barcodes stick on those 2 cards! First picture is good one, another 2 have barcodes stick on them!

I have been coming to this pharmacy for over 10 years and I'm absolutely appalled at the lack of service efficiency in the pharmacy. The staff are amazing (PA's and Daisy and Swana), but management is beyond ridiculous. Prescriptions are NEVER on time and when one is faxed, it's never ready on time. I have moved to a house to a closer Shoppers 5 years ago and I have not switched my prescriptions because of the staff, but the owner needs to provide adequate training to staff and also staff according to the needs. I've waited 4 hours for a prescription right now, when it should have been done yesterday. There is now a line of 10+ people.Tons of staff within the store that could potentially hop on cash at the pharmacy to allow the PA and pharmacists to do their job, but no.I am absolutely appalled by this and am so disappointed that this community Shoppers Drig Mart owner sees no issue with this. Staff are NOT to blame it is a staffing issue. And thus was also pre Pandemic, not just post.You've lost a customer tonight. So disappointed.

staff seem overworked and understaffedmanagement is very lacking**i give the staff creditfrom post office to pharmacy to retailthey do things right when asked**butThe carts are always all over the place.The garbage cans are always overflowing.The pharmacy staff are always overworked and unable to answer the phone.Shelves are often empty.The voicemail system to the pharmacy is always backed up or not working properly.It always surprises me when an owner operator or manager allows things to get like this.There seems to be no sense of ownership and pride.

This pharmacy is truly as bad as it gets. I have contacted the owner 3 times in the past couple years. They are wildly understaffed, as can be determined by the 45 min wait times to speak with someone on the phone. Also they are consistently 12+ hours behind on prescriptions, inconveniencing customers. I actually don’t blame the staff for being short with people, as they appear very stressed out and confused. Training also plays a part in this, which is also an owner/management issue. The store has actually developed a bad reputation within the community. Must be tough to go into work at this place. The one star is for the staff running their buts off, with no sign of relief.Still a disaster over there!
