Loft 199 Hair Studio

I went for my first Loft 199 experience about 3 weeks ago, and honestly, I can't wait for my next appointment. It is such a nice studio, so open, clean and inviting. I saw Emma and she was absolutely TOP NOTCH. Prices are fair, and even 3 weeks later, my cut and colour are still exactly how I wanted them. I strongly recommend!

Getting my hair done at Loft 199 is always a great experience. My stylist, Stef, is super friendly and always gives an excellent cut and solid advice on styling and product. The salon has a great vibe to it - modern, yet comfortsble.... Kind of like visiting your cool best friend's apartment.

Stef always does an amazing job. She is a very skilled hairstylist. I'm very very happy with my cut.The space is also very beautiful, very open clean and welcoming.

I have been going to Mandy for almost 10 years now and she is an amazing stylist! She does such a beautiful job with my pixie cut, that not only I love my hair cut every time, but people are always complimenting me on her work. Recently, I took my two daughters (9 & 11) to see her and their experience and hair cuts are so easy to manage now. They both enjoy having long hair, but that comes with so much nagging about brushing, which none of us enjoy. Mandy's suggestion to get their hair layered has made a huge difference! Their hair is so much easier to take care of and it looks great! We are all very happy with the change. Thank you so much, Mandy!!

My hair dresser was very friendly and patient with me, especially when I was running late for my appointment which i truly appreciate.However, there are two things I am disappointed about:1) my hairdresser did not show me a preview of what the shade would look like after applying the Hair Color. The Color is too dark to the point that the highlights blend in with my black hair and its not noticeable at all.2) I had asked for a shaggy haircut which includes short layers. The front looks fine but the back of my head is still long and no layers. My hair length is inconsistent and I am sad i didn't get my money's worth.

I went for a full colour and cut with Brianna. I was a little bit thrown off by the location of the salon. (If you go all the way to the end where the door is, follow the signs that lead you upstairs).Upon entering the salon, I was extremely impressed by the space and how comforting and relaxing it is. It's a loft space that is filled with natural light and warmth. I immediately felt at ease.I had been referred to Brianna by a friend of mine and I was not disappointed! I have hair that is often hard to colour and style and Brianna really made me feel comfortable and that she knew what I wanted. She showed me colour swatches and gave me realistic expectations in terms of of what to expect.She is a delight to talk to and really listens to you. It also helps that she's into crystals as much I am!My hair turned out amazing and I will definitely be back! Brianna is knowledgeable, and amazing at she does! I've always been a natural redhead but she gave me confidence in my hair and made me feel like a million bucks!

This is a lovely little business with a beautiful open space, perfect for distancing (even though I'm sure that's not the reason they moved). My hair dresser understood what I wanted with my hair, worked with me to make sure it was right and I left super happy and excited to show off my hair. I highly recommend going here and will return.

Loft 199 is a beautiful salon with a bright, calming atmosphere. The stylists are all friendly and professional! The products are high quality and affordable if you want to buy anything to use at home.Emma has been my stylist for many years and she is literally the best stylist I've ever had. The very definition of above and beyond! I am always happy with my hair and I never worry how it will turn out. She is excellent at working with curly hair. We have done a variety of styles and cuts and experimented with different colours and highlights.I have learned so much from her about my own hair since we first met!
