I've worked with Jeff for years and will send my friends, family and others to him for TV and audio repairs.It's great when you find out that your TV needs a simple and inexpensive repair, rather than needing to replace the TV.They repair TV's, amplifiers, receivers and more.April 2018 Update: Jeff successfully replaced the aged capacitors in my Sunfire truesub. I'm very pleased that he was able to perform this update.

This is a great repair shop with a knowledgeable and talented repair person. Jeff was amazing. I had no Sanyo authorized repair shops near me (I'm from Northeast Iowa) and he offered to look at my TV and repair it the same day since I had to travel about 1-1/2 hours to get there. He fixed it within about 2 hours and the charges were reasonable too (less than $100 for a 37 LCD). The TV was showing strange colors and he was able to tear it apart and replace a chip that had gone bad on it. I will be bringing him more business if I need something fixed in the future. Highly recommended!"

I left a message after hours, Owner called me that night. Very unexpected and gave me detailed explanation, that I could understand,Advised me on repair and was honest about it making a lasting improvement. Also advised me on what to look for in a replacement. When I asked how I could reimburse him for his time, I was told his diagnosis and advice was free. Unbelievable and rare. Highly recommend!

I initially ran into Vy Electronics with my LG Plasma TV. There was a warranty issue and they worked literally for months on the issue back and forth with LG to get it covered under the warranty.Recently what I thought was my audio receiver stopped working. I called them up and they spent about 5 minutes trouble shooting with me over the phone despite me just offering to pay the $25 and drop it off. Turns out it was just an HDMI cable that had gone bad, and I was about to just buy a new receiver, so that saved me! I recommend these guys, they are top notch.

I brought 3 vintage Marantz receivers in for repair and had already readied myself for a 1500.00 bill.After all these are vintage silver faced receivers, they are beautiful astetically and sounding but with that comes a lot of little intricate parts .Within a few weeks they were completely done and ready to bring home. It was not even hhqlfwhat I expected the price for repairbto be and they have never sounded better. This man is a wizard of sorts.

These guys are fantastic! They're repaired a number of different things for myself and family! From basic to high end receivers to an LCD tv, they've done a wonderful job getting it all back running great! In a day and age where our culture just trashes things that don't work, I love spending a fraction of the cost to get it repaired and working with no problems.The one thing, they're so busy that they get pretty backlogged. Most repairs seem to take a couple weeks, so just don't expect to have your tv back tomorrow night kind of thing! Would highly recommend VY to friends!

I am very please with the service provided by Jeff at VY Electonics. The work is done local with quick turnaround. Jeff provided a detailed quote and held to it. VY stands behind their repairs as my TV crashed after 6 months; Jeff applied my first bill as a credit to the second work-order when an entire board needed to be replaced.Very satisfied and would recommend in a heartbeat.
