I get this email with my name spelled incorrectly, telling me that they’re lowering my interest rate by 0.5% on my already “pre-approved” account.But they also don’t tell me what my previous interest rate was.When I look at the terms located on the bottom link of the page, it gives me examples in the English pound, not the Canadian dollar.They say they have 15 lenders, that most dealerships already use:TDCarfincoRBCSo why would I give out my name and personal information to a company that tells me I’m “pre-approved” (and remember, they didn’t even spell my name accurately) instead of through a dealership?As someone who was in F@I for many years, in a dealership setting, these guys don’t do anything special that ANY dealership could do.Don’t give your information to them!
