Still my preferred grocer. Excellent variety of products and some of the best butchers in NL. Always a pleasure to shop there. Staff are always close by and responsive. Five stars for the checkouts. And don't forget free internet. Find their online specials while you shop. Good gluten free choices to boot. Shop here.

Given their locations the prices are really quite reasonable. The bakery always has fresh foods, produce is equally fresh but their deli section lacks a bit of variety. On the whole a good spot to grab your groceries

Good selection of groceries. Meat department staff very accommodating and will usually cut to your request. Store is steadily improving. I am purchasing more there than ever. Produce needs improvement though, especially potatoes. In my opinion they sell junk PEI potatoes.

Love shopping at Powell's. Lots of local produce and baked goods. Prepared fish and brewes with scrunchions and just a warm feeling of down home warmth.

The staff is very helpful and there is no trouble finding one of them. Store is layed out pretty good. Wish they had a larger selection of pet food. Good bakery.

We sat down and had a club sandwich, that was good. Then I saw carrot muffins with cream icing, they looked really good. Nope, they were dry and the icing tasted like whipped cream and icing sugar, not even close to cream cheese. Horribly sweet.

Friendly, clean and good selection. Although prices are up, here at Powell's they weren't bad. I highly recommend this store.
