I took my G&L ASAT classic (telecaster) for an unusual nut repair and a fret dress and setup , after discussing with Jacques in which direction I wanted the nut repair to go, with his knowledge and expertise he made the guitar like new again or possibly even better , I was well impressed by the care he took to explain what he did and even sent me photos of the repair steps, Also the fret dress was superb , I have absolutely no qualms about taking any guitar there for service, He's also a #1 guy to deal with and very fair prices . Much appreciated I'm now a Happy guy with a happy guitar ..

Jacques is very passionate about what he does and puts equal care, quality and finesse into anything you give him wether it be a set-up adjustment to a broken instrument repair, to a full blown nightmare. Jacques did a refret on my 1971 Gibson SG and if I could rate it more than a 5 stars I would. The guitar has a lot of sentimental value to myself and the refret took more care and effort than expected due to the wear. Jacques took his time and brought it back to life and it looks like it came right from the factory. And even though it took more time and care Jacques did not charge any more than he quoted. He actually charged less cause he worked hard to keep the original nut. I will never take any of my guitars to anyone else. Thank you!

I've had Jacques service three of my guitars, each of them pretty special to me: a Martin D-35 (150th anniversary edition), a rare 5-string Fender bass, and an early Godin LGX. They have never sounded better than when home from his shop. He's a craftsman--and an excellent teacher, too! Well worth his very reasonable fees.

Excellent workmanship, more then fair price point. My guitar plays and sounds like it never has before. Night and day difference after upgrading just the saddle.The difference in tone, brilliance/resonance/ sustain is incredible, very satisfied with everything overall. Definite 5 star.
