The tea is high quality and wonderful. That’s why I have waited over a year to get the blend I came to love. Worst. Just the worst customer service. I have had a tea blend on order for well over a year. I keep getting told you will hear from us! Not a word to tell me it’s taking longer than expected or … anything. Good customer service would be to be in touch. Every time I message I get very rude comments. I am not just buying for one person, there are 6 of us! My expectations are high, fitting with expensive products.

Very kind, warm and welcoming staff. Bought the most beautiful pestle and mortar for such a great price. Will be returning for tea!

Love the brand, but greatly dislike this particular location. I asked the elderly kiosk employee no less than 5 times to be able to browse the selection and he would not stop shoving teas into my face and trying to convince me of flavours I told him I already had.I ended up walking away after asking to please let me browse on my own time and at my own pace." And not 5 seconds later being interrupted again with him doing the same stuff.Amazing brand

I wandered into HotCups today for the first time. I was greeted with a warm welcome by Ash who invited me to take a closer look at a Turkish tea cup. I was blown away by her professional salesperson-ship and outgoing personality. She invited me to smell many types of tea, informed me of the current promotions, and helped me pick out four flavours that smell and so far taste heavenly. She made me a hot drink free of charge and when I enquired about a travelling mug for tea, she told me about all the features and explained that she never makes more than two with the same picture. So you know that you are getting something unique! You can also pick your own picture or ask to have something custom made based on whatever you would like. Ash told me how I could reach the company and view some products.Overall, I had a very enjoyable, memorable experience and I am very happy with my purchases and my time well spent among someone who clearly has a deep passion for their family business.Bravo HotCups! Their tea has been very good and flavourful. Price/amount ratio is typical of specialty tea stores. They allow you to smell-try and offer small free samples. Sales staff are nice but can be a bit pushy on trying to get you to buy more. Seem to be struggling for business and it's coming off a bit desperate. Either that could be the reason why they aren't getting much sales, or a result of low sales. Not sure, but I hope business lifts up for Hot Cups. The tea is delicious. I'll be coming back for more. The Ginger Lemon gives you some pep. I'm trying out the Sweet Village, currently. Has a comforting, fruity aroma. I actually do enjoy these flavours better than T Kettle and David's Tea.
