Fantastic service!

Beware of this company. Specialist in Ripping of the customers, called these people for solving a simple issue,Too many people showed up, finally invoiced for literally every one who came,there for no reason,issue was still not solved,which was only resolved after calling another company,They don't even care sending an invoice,before charging the credit card which they asked as we were calling them for the first time.Supplies cost:$55Labour cost :832.30,Tried to call them,Bradd who addressed himself as owner was too unprofessional in the phone,even told us actually we are undercharged even told he had visited the site which was also included in the invoice.WILL NEVER CALL OR RECOMMEND THESE GUYS ANY MORE.

Ran out on a weekend after being a customer for several years in Pier area, but recently moved to Dutch Brook area...had 200 here to get oil..got a callback requesting 300 to get a delivery here...I only had 200 available...family with children spend weekend of -20 degree weather with no heat.....never a MacLeods customer again!!!

I ran out of oil tonight so I called your 24/7 delivery line. It's storming out and my home is freezing. I was told that you do not deliver after 11pm. I'll never use your service again because of your false advertising.

Would honestly rate my first & last experience with MacLeod's Fuels a ZERO (if it was an option).Absolutely terrible customer service & unprofessional behaviour!!!We are a young couple who purchased our first rental property. We completed rennovations ourselves & noticed the hot water tank was indeed functioning but not producing long periods of hot water.We called MacLeod's Fuels requesting a service check with specific instructions that this was a rental property & as the owners needed to be called before the plumber entered our residence (where tenants occupied). We also wanted to be present to hear the outcome & make an informed decision before moving forward. The clerk or front desk receptionist verified that it was noted that the owners are to be called upon arrival & present during the service check in their documentation system. We went over the importance of this request & the receptionist verified the plumber has access to this information.NOT only did we not recieve a call, the plumber decided to enter the rental, completely replace our water tank with zero consent or sign off from me (owner) & left an invoice of over $1,000.We were shocked. Called the owner- Brad who unfortunately was extremely unprofessional. MacLeods Fuels basically said it was their fault for not having consent (to not only enter our building) but to replace our water tank BUT said that their mistake will not be at their expense. HUH?After many calls & trials to seek EVEN just a market fair price (which we provided a quote for $700 from another local company). Brad continued to be very hard to deal with. We simply decided to pay the invoice & leave a fair review in hopes this DOES NOT happen to anyone else in Cape Breton!Obviously will not be using MacLeods for any services ever.

MacLeod's Fuels SAVED our family from the frigid February temperatures by delivering oil just before we ran out - 2 hours after we ordered it! Thanks to the best home heating oil company on the island! UPDATE - the burner motor on our furnace stopped working on the evening of December 27. I called the emergency line at MacLeod's Fuels and they had a tech there within 1.5 hours. He (Cory) replaced the burner motor and was out the door in 45 mins. Excellence service again!
