Carleton swim

Last year I thought I contracted bed bugs from the locker room (I didn't), or the chlorine level was too high (it wasn't), because I developed a severe rash the same week I went swimming for 3 hours on Saturday and 3 hours on Sunday. What actually happened was I borrowed my cousin's kayak, visited a small island near First Avenue school, disembarked and brushed my legs up against a forest of poison ivy.As far as the pool itself is concerned, the water is a little on the cool side (could be that I'm slightly underweight, but I heard an Asian couple saying much the same). I also enjoyed the sauna, which has remained unchanged since my father brought me, my brother and sister when we were younger. Honestly, 3 hours for $5 on the weekends is unbeatable. I'll definitely be returning this spring!

Nice pool, locker rooms need some updating... Half of the showers don't work.
