This was my first speed dating experience and let me tell ya, it beats online dating BY FAR! Sure, I was nervous going into it (who wouldn’t be) but Maria (our host) made it easy. She sent out clear communication about what to expect ahead of time and she was so enthusiastic throughout the event which made it that much better. If you’re like me and you think online dating has gotten pretty mundane, try speed dating! Trust me. You won’t regret it!

Maria knows her craft! An expert host, most entertaining event organizer, and phenomenal events with great people. I love Maria’s events. I would highly recommend. And she keeps the price points really affordable, which just means you get to meet more people for less. In my honest opinion, there is no other speed event organizer in ottawa who is as successful in their events as Maria is.

Ding Dong Dating is an excellent speed dating experience — the best I’ve had (and I’ve tried several companies). I have attended several events where I made quality matches. I’ve recommended to friends that they give it a try as they are tired of online dating.Maria’s service is personalized and her evenings are fun — she makes everyone feel supported, and the format flows well making it is easy to get to know everyone.I’d recommend Ding Dong Dating to anyone who is looking to find love (or a well matched date) in the Capital region. Maria runs a really great event! The initial ice breaker session in a larger group is a great way to get people socializing to warm up for, what for some, can be more intimidating one on one speed dates. The location was the perfect size for the number of participants and the evening flowed very well.Will recommend to other friends who aren’t as keen about online dating. It’s amazing how quickly you can get a feel for someone in a 7 minute conversation as opposed to days of texting on hinge or bumble before meeting in person.

As a first timer to the speed dating game, I was extremely nervous, but Maria is so good at her job that she always makes sure everyone is included, safe and comfortable! This was such a fun way to make connections but above all meet a great group of girls with such good energy! I fully recommend Ding Dong Dating because stepping out of my comfort zone led me to meet such a great group of people!

I came across Ding Dong Dating’s events accidentally when I was purchasing tickets through Eventbrite for something else. I’ve been practicing intentional dating for some time now and thought this was a great avenue to meet people in person and see if there was a connection. The speed dating event was well organized and the host did a great job at breaking the ice and putting everyone at ease. I was surprised to hear she’s been doing this only since June 2022 since the night was well run. I highly recommend Ding Dong Dating to everyone! Great overall experience!

I've been to two of Maria's events and have absolutely loved the experience. She creates a welcoming and safe vibe for all attendees. This is a great alternative to online dating! Seriously. Waaayyyy better. Thanks for being a fantastic host! I am definitely going to the next one.
