Korean Pavillion
A wonderful building on the south east corner of the Government House property. This Korean pavilion is absolutely beautiful in its design and looks. It’s hand painted. There is information here that tells about the unique design and relationship between Alberta and South Korea. I have been here several times over the years and have always enjoyed it. I would definitely recommend coming here to enjoy this unique building.

Korean Pavillion
This is a beautifully hand painted Korean Pavilion located on the Government House grounds. It’s nestled into the south east corner of the yard and is a nice quiet place to relax.Jeongja are traditional Korean pavilions built where humans and nature come together. This type of architecture illustrates the Korean love of nature through integration of natural materials. Jeongja are built entirely of wood and stone, using traditional joinery methods, without nails or screws. Jeongja are often hand-painted with colourful floral designs. Jeongja are usually situated to afford commanding views of the surrounding landscape. They can also be located at the entrance to a village and used for social occasions, or they can be designed as a summer retreat in a deep valley.

Korean Pavillion
Used the Korean Pavillion for a dance video shoot. It's interesting to know about the relationship between Alberta and Korea. This low-key area was beautiful to visit on a sunny day.
