I gave this store a 5 star review a year ago….“Best place ever. So much stuff for a smaller store. Fantastic staff too. Both deserve a 5/5 ❤”Now it scores a 1.What the heck is happening? Everything has gone to pot since the former manager Bob left.Now I’m lucky to find what I need even in stock.The entire pet aisle is virtually empty. There are huge product holes everywhere. Not even worth going there anymore.Too bad since the staff are the Best and really know their stuff.They try to keep the store stocked properly but the totally absent owner has instructed them to Only order enough product to fill the shelves and leave the warehouse free of product.Pardon???Why would Mr Owner hire qualified professionals only to railroad their recommendations?Now the shelves are clear and there’s Nothing left in pockets everywhere.Because of him I don’t know if it’s even worth the time to go there anymore. The Evansburg hardware store is simply amazing with their stock. The quality is high and the prices are good but I really like the Staff at the Wabamun Home Hardware.Too bad about the owner’s limited vision and capability. If it continues like this the store could easily die.

Always very helpful even when the store is busy. I usually find what I am looking for every time. Nice having Propane available too. An awesome resource for the hamlet of Wabamun and area.

Went there to get stain for our deck, knowledgeable courteous staff

Even on a Sunday when the store is full of customers needing various hands-on items like keys cut, propane filled and lumber, the staff still give their best effort to serve everyone in a timely and courteous manner. Huge variety of most home repair items and tools etc. Fishing licenses also available at this location. For such a small community, this store could teach the big ones a thing or two. I will continue to be a regular customer.

Went there for treated wood the price for 2x4 was 14$ compared to everyone else the spruce grove home hardware had better grade wood for 9.33 $ their 2x6 and other prices I compared were marked equally highWhen I looked at the wood it was horrible condition when I complained about the quality and the price I got attitude from the staff Not impressed no customer service

For such a small town their Home Hardware should had a good stock on electrical equipment. I found everything I needed including two needed overhead service wire wedges!! The wire clamps I couldn’t find were easily substituted by another style that their staff helped me find. Thanks Home Hardware for being there when I needed some emergency material.

I would like to let everyone know about the experience I had today May 7, 2022. I went to purchase some 3/4 spruce plywood. After paying for the material I went to the yard where I meet Bob for the first time. I explained to him with the cost of these($289.77) for three sheets, I was going to be only taking good quality sheets. No broken comers, no missing chunks of plys. Where he responded “we don’t get to pick our sheets, so why should you”. Where I replied” this is a lot of money, and I work hard for it so I’m going to need near perfect sheets”. He responded with “you think I don’t work hard for my money”. Then he refused me service, and told that he won’t be selling me anything today and go get a refund. He expected me to take the next three sheets no mater condition. I have lived local for 20 years and shopped here many, many times. This would have never happened with the pervious owners. So I got my refund and drove to Spruce Grove Home Depot, and spend my hard earned money there. And hope you do also. I’ve also started a file with corporate. If you have also had poor service with Bob I please ask you to due the same. And maybe things will get better for others. Not for me as I will be shopping elsewhere for my materials.
