If you've ever questioned the value of an Interior Designer or General Renovation Contractor, meeting and working with Carley will dispel that myth forever! Quite simply, she's a superstar. I can't even begin to describe the number of times she had to quickly pivot because of covid related issues and delays out of her control, each time giving us options, explanations, and assurances all the while dealing with the back-end frustrations that we never had to see. The true character of someone is displayed not when things run smoothly, but when challenges arise and she aced it every time! She's smart, professional, ethical and oh, so very talented! She heard and realized our vision from day one and never waivered from that thread. All her options and execution remained well in that lane and the result was beyond our greatest expectation, all the while keeping the budget and costs well documented and communicated. We truly have such gratitude for everything she has done for us. There are so many layers that go into a project such as ours and she just kept knocking it out of the park! Writing this review seems like such a small thing compared to what she's given us. I confidently can say, you will feel the same!

What we like about working with Carley is that she is creative and caring. She listens to what you would like and then provides alternative designs in different formats to help visualize the finished design. She is willing to mediate so everyone receives a solution they like. She did a wonderful job with our living room and our show piece, the fireplace. The fireplace required specialized experience to install and she found qualified trades and supplier in our area to get the project done correctly. No small feat in this market in the Okanagan.This was our experience and shows the attention to detail you get with studio l ru. We will continue to use Carley on our next project, the bathrooms.
