For a Tex-Mex restaurant that is known for their fajitas this specific location sorely missed the mark on their meat preparation, toppings and overall flavour profile. Toppings were underwhelming and protons sizes were non-existent.It felt like the restaurant tried really hard to minimize the amount of food (quantity) they provided (the slices of steak were so thin they could have been mistaken for fried onions). Not a fan of restaurants that want to serve the least amount of food to earn the most profits they can make. The tortillas were fresh, hot and plentiful. The rice provided was over spiced and nobody at the table enjoyed it (we wasted most of the rice sides).Service was good and our server was very attentive to any needs at the table. The pitcher of Margarita was ok but nothing to rave about. The overall atmosphere at the restaurant was upbeat and lively that helped the dining experience. It does feel like the restaurant chain can do with a facelift and more of a focus on food quantity and quality.

The food was great, and the service great, my only complaint was that our table was very dark, and we could barely see our food. If I wanted that experience, I'd go to one of those restaurants where you eat in the dark. A Texas size (3 people) serves each person approximately 4 fajitas, which is a generous amount, I wish the little side dish with lettuce and cheese was a bit bigger but overall excellent meal!

The fajitas are still the best anywhere. And I’ve had fajitas everywhere, including Texas. The chicken fingers are pretty good, and the deep-fried pickles were not very good.So if you are looking for the best fajitas, you can find this is the apot.

Staff was good, when offering service. However, the wait (empty restaurant) to be seated was long. The staff seemed more concerned about golf and chatting amongst themselves than helping us. Congrats on the waiter on beating their personal best on golf. However, practicing your swing behind the bar isn't professional. Thanks for the excellent food.

Haven’t eaten at Lonestar in 10+ years and now I remember why I don’t come here. The service was horrendous. Took 30 minutes for the drinks to be delivered to the table. The food took almost an hour! The server came by 3 times just to say the food shouldn’t be much longer. When the food eventually came it was very underwhelming. The tortillas were as thick as pancakes which ruined the fajitas. The enchiladas were also thick and chewy.Maybe there will be improvements when I return in 10+ years

Had a great experience here, got seated almost immediately .The younger guy who served us was a sweetheart and constantly checked in with us for refills, and anything we may have needed despite him being so busy.We ordered a rare steak which came medium rare, and the boy quickly fixed the issue and had the chef prepare a new one right away for free. It was absolutely perfect and tasted great. They allowed us to keep the first steak as well which was a great surprise. Everyone was so attentive to our table and really made the dining experience feel catered to us. Nothing but kindness from the staff. Will definitely come here again, food was great and had big portions for leftovers. Loved it

Shotgun was the best server i’ve ever had here! So attentive and made great recommendations based on what i said I liked and didn’t like. Very upbeat and made the whole experience so much better. Will definitely be coming back and requesting his section every time!

Food was okay, but they weren't really busy and still got my wife's order wrong. And $2.99 for a little cup of guacamole? That should have been included on the plate with the salsa, in my opinion. I hope our waitress enjoyed her phone break while we ate our food. Everyone chips in there though and it was bright and cheerful inside.

First time I went to this restaurant was also the first time I head of this restaurant! Didn't know what to expect from a Tex Mex place, but I found it to be delightful.Once you are seated, you are given complementary Nachos, which were nice and warm (and not too salty!) Not completely familiar with Fajitas, I decided to order myself the Buffalo Chicken for one, while my friend got the Fajita Bowl. While it was a lot of food, I found the Buffalo Chicken to be more like cut-up Chicken Strips; don't get me wrong, I do enjoy my Chicken Strips, but it's not what I expected. But the flavour was tasty, the Buffalo Sauce was spicy enough that it wasn't uncomfortable. If this is a preview of what Texas Food is like, then I'm definitely excited to eat in the Lone Star State!Sangria was delightful, very hospitable and warm throughout our dining experience (don't believe that's their real name, but it's a cute codename regardless). A bit pricey for lunch, but it's definitely worth checking out.
