Old Strathcona Farmer's Market

You will like it if you believe in promoting local flavors, produce and home made items. The place is big but get very crowded.Items are expensive but worth promoting home grown businesses. Everything looks very appealing.Keep a track of your spending as u can easily spend hundreds if u don’t watch ur spending.I didn’t find fresh berries during my visit and it was the only disappointment.There is a parking lot across the street offering 2 hours free parking in case parking is your concern.

LOVE IT!!! Absolutely a must go. It’s so homey. The produce is fresh and you always get ideas for gift giving. Go empty stomach so you can try different things there. There are always so many people, but it never feels crowded.

One of the better farmer's markets out there. Produce selection seems to be legitimately local since it's very seasonal. I appreciate having a few options for meat vendors from local farms. Fair selection of artisan booths selling baked goods, sauces, dips, etc. and different ethnic foods. I noticed there are also vendors that cater to dietary restrictions such as gluten free and vegan. The market is also a good size, not too big that it's overwhelming, and also not too busy. Would absolutely return.

First time visiting this Farmers Market and was it ever busy. Great destination if you love fresh organic fruit, meat and vegetables. An assortment of fresh baked goods and dessert. Many vendors offered samples which was a great way to try them. There were some vendors selling hand made goods such as jewelry, bags and other unique items. Open Saturdays 8am-3pm only. There is a small cafe that serves up foods sold at the market for reasonable prices but service is a bit slow since it’s the only place that is a restaurant. One washroom located near the cafe so it was busy as well. They do have an app you can download to find the list of vendors at the market.

One if the best markets. Pricing is what it should be and they offer deals. Id rather buy my veggies and fruit there than grocery store and give my money to a farmer to keep producing quality fesh products.Wish they were open Sunday as well.You can find everything there. Go shopping after and grab lunch at the many restaurants around.

August 27 2022, SaturdayMy ist time here in a long time and this place has lots of fresh produce from different vendors.There's a wide variety of home-made edible products such as pies, bagels, cinnamon buns, Asian food, fruit spreads, alcoholic beverages, Latin food, breads, frozen meats, Caribbean food, etc.There's also a food court that serves hot menu.Clean washroom for public use.

Did not expect so many food, produce and other items to be in. You can sample food, enjoy variety of ice cream and snacks while walking around the market. Market is housed inside a building and places are there to sit and eat as well.

Old Strathcona may not be the largest farmer’s market I’ve seen (owing to its high latitude, Edmonton ain’t going to be a destination for tropical fruits), but it does an exceptional job of showcasing local foods and produce…. With ABUNDANT free samples. Want to experience the exceptional summer bounty of local (just- picked) plums, peaches, and cherries? ✔️. Interested in mead made from Saskatoon prairie? ✔️

Great place to check out, we found lots of goodies.

Love this farmers market! Good variety of products and free parking across the street. Definitely worth checking out!
