Garnetwood Park Off- Leash Dogs park

I like it here! It is a pretty big space, with some trees for shade and a few benches. All the dog folk I've met here have been friendly or helpful, and the dogs all seem great at aying and sharing! There are water dishes all around that we try to remember to help keep filled.

Great place to let the dogs run . Lit at night and we'll maintained coupled with trees for the dogs to investigate

Our dog was attacked yesterday evening and had to be taken to the ER. The owner of the other dog asked us to leave the park because according to him it was our mistake that we got our small dog inside the park.Our dog has been a regular visitor of this park for over an year now and this is the first time she was attacked. She just wanted to play with her tennis ball inside the park.So beware of such pathetic owners!!

This park is definitely hit or miss. During the day there are a lot of dog walkers here that bring dogs to the park that shouldn't be there. My partner has been attacked by a dog here and was bruised badly on his arm. Because it was during winter and he had a lot of layers on he was lucky to walk away with just a bruise, otherwise he would've been bitten badly. The dog that bit him was unprovoked.Lots of owners here allow their dogs to exhibit bad behaviours especially those with smaller dogs, they will allow them to bully/antagonize the larger dogs. There are people who bring toys/balls in here and are shocked when other dogs start playing with them, there are signs that discourages bringing anything into the park that you don't want other dogs playing with.I prefer to come in the late afternoon/evening when dog walkers aren't around

I'm only giving 4 stars because this is my first time and I'm here at 10PM on a Sunday lol so he has the whole place to himself to explore! I love Mississauga off leash wayyyy better than Toronto. But I don't like all the commercial dog walkers so my review may change if I come during the day .

Just came fromPark and it was nothing but big dogs. If you have a big dog this park is great! Very well maintained but my poor girl had to leave after five minutes as the dogs were to aggressive

Great park with friendly people. Occasional nut job or aggressive dog but definitely the best dog park in the west end.

Nice dog park, good size with lots of water bowls, trees and picnic tables. Great owners. Nearby parking. Our dog Faris likes it also.

I love Garnetwood leash free park. My dog and I go often. We have so many friends there. People are mostly friendly. Dogs have a blast.

Overrun with many commercial dog walkers (i.e. one person attempting to control 8 large dogs) so small dogs are at risk of being attacked. It's a shame because facilities are nice.
