PDS Fire Protection

They Call me several nights a week sometimes I get multiple call in the same night for the same event.They wake you up an night, and you can't get a good sleep.All calls are sensor issues, or security guards setting off the alarm.

3am Wednesday my condo building's fire alarm started going off intermittently. PDS, who was supposed to be monitoring the panel, was called. We were assured someone was dispatched. The alarm continued throughout Wednesday morning and during the day, when we were again assured someone would be dispatched. Thursday morning the alarm was still going off. We were, again, assured that someone would be dispatched.To say that PDS does not have a timely response to serious issues would be an epic understatement. They simply do not respond to calls except to assure callers that someone will be dispatched.I recommend literally any other option than PDS if you enjoy things like sleep, fire safety, and conversation in your own home.

Never made it past the rude office woman. Go to Tyco instead, over on Manitou road.

If you're an enthusiast, you'll love PDS. They're super nice, and gave me a bunch of devices that they took out of buildings. I recommend these guys!

Had an appointment booked with a 5 hour window, no show and upright canceled the day of. Terrible experience. Would not recommend.

They'll come in and do the work, but follow-up service is terrible. Left messages for service manager to call, but call not returned.

Had a great experience with everyone at PDS Fire. Taylor was great to deal with when I called to book my appointment and with all my follow up questions. Service manager Kevin went above and beyond and service technician Duncan came after hours to make sure our inspection was done and followed up with some minor issues he encountered.Thanks to everyone there for all their efforts!!

Disorganized company! Called three times to book an appointment, got different information every time without getting anything booked. Then while at work I get a call saying they're 20 minutes out without any knowledge of an appointment being booked. Techs were fine (hence the 2 stars) but this company clearly doesn't know what it's doing.

I’ve worked with PDS for the past few years as their engineering support. It’s always great to collaborate with Shane on solutions and discuss fire alarm and code technical matters. When we are working on fire alarm projects Shane’s team is always looking to get the job done right.
