Tails A Waggin

I started bringing my puppy to Tails a Waggin at only 3 months old. Lewie is now 4 months, and is very excited to get out the door in the morning to see all of his friends at daycare. His socialization skills have flourished in the month he's been attending Tails a Waggin.The owners treat him (and us) like we are family and I'm so grateful to have found this business. I wouldn't trust my baby with anyone else. I highly recommend this daycare and groomer.

I took my Pyrenees X to Tails A Waggin for the first time and they were amazing! My pup is very shy and scared of everything but she warmed up very quickly, and looked (and smelled) amazing when I picked her up. Excellent customer service and very friendly!

I was so impressed with Tails A Waggin. I have tried a few groomers in Calgary and this is by far my favorite place. I have a large puppy who is very anxious and was a little difficult during his groom. Curtis was so wonderful with him and did an amazing job. I really liked how Curtis took the time to talk to me about the groom before to ensure he knew what I wanted and also spent time talking to me after. I will definitely be back and highly recommend Tails A Waggin.

We had a great experience with Tails A Waggin! My dog, Jasper, is extremely anxious and is notoriously difficult to groom. He fought them through the whole grooming process, but they were amazing and patient and took their time to make him feel comfortable by giving him breaks to calm down. They even called me for an update halfway through to let me know how he was doing and why it was taking longer than usual, and provided videos to show me how he responded to the grooming. Their prices were also extremely reasonable and they never tried to up-sell or pressure me into buying extra things.Jasper and I will definitely be back to (hopefully one day) overcome his grooming anxiety. I'm so happy I've found Tails A Waggin. My standard poodle is quite nervous about being groomed, but after chatting with Curtis for a few minutes, I knew she'd be in good hands. The groom went great, and what I loved, is they really listened, and my dog ended up looking EXACTLY like what I'd asked for. These folks actually took notes, and attached it to my dog's file so that I'll be able to request the same cut in the future if I like. The sweet photos they took of my poodle is nice bonus. I'll be back again for sure! I've tried a few groomers in Calgary, but Tails A Waggin is by far the best!

The owner is very friendly and accommodating. Excellent job of taking care of our pets and the groomer does a great job. The environment is welcoming and always kept clean. Highly recommend this place for daycare or grooming services.

brought my large huskey here and i am so happy with her groom! her double coat was almost completely brushed out plus she was so soft and shiny. the owners are so kind and i am very comfortable leaving my pup in their hands. 10/10 would recommend and this will now be my only groomer because they are so unbelievably amazing

Our last groomer was leaving the location that we have been taking Bruce to for a few years to go to their new location that is very far away. They tried to switch us to a different groomer at the same location and it was a terrible experience where an appointment was booked incorrectly when he was due for a groom, and we had to leave for our Honeymoon for a few weeks. The new groomer was also extremely rude to us about their mistake. I found Tails a Waggin and booked an appointment, but let them know that he would be very overdue for a groom by that point. They assured us that it wouldn’t be a problem, and they kept their promise. They asked us a lot of questions about how we wanted him to look, but like us, the focus was actually more on his well-being. They let us know that he had a lot of issues with his paws that the previous groomer must have been ignoring. He has always hated his feet being touched, but now that Tails A Waggin cleared them out for him he has no problem with us touching his feet. I feel terrible that we didn’t realize this was the problem sooner. They also actually listened to us when we said that we wanted him to be able to see properly, something his last groomer never seemed to fully understand. I wish we had found Tails A Waggin much much sooner for Bruce’s sake. He is happy, clean, and clear of any mats. They also said he was really well behaved for them during the process, which was lovely to hear because anyone with a Standard Poodle knows they can be pretty energetic, goofy, and stubborn, qualities many groomers can be easily annoyed by. Bruce is a wonderful dog (I’m definitely not biased at all haha) and it is really lovely to see the professional people taking care of him enjoy spending time with him as well. We have already booked our next appointment, and are so relieved to know that his safety and well-being will always be prioritized. Thank you!!

This is the very best place to get your dog and cat groomed and nails cut. Curtis is so quick and painless cutting my dog’s nails. I will not go anywhere else.
