Heritage Gardens Cemetery

Recently I needed the services of Heritage Gardens Cemetery for the unexpected passing of my husband. Even though I had driven by the location dozens of times, I didn't actually realize it was a such a beautiful Cemetery beyond the driveway.They have many different options and choices to consider and the staff assisted me so kindly and consideratley. I was really at peace being there and choosing a location for his cremains in one of the natural gardens. It is a place I feel I will visit many times over the years and highly recommend them to others who are also in need of this type of service.

I am very happy to have found a peaceful resting place for my husband. It is in a great, easy to access location from our home in Cloverdale. The staff are very kind, helpful and accommodating. The only issue that I have with the location is the noise of the truck traffic along 16th Ave but that is beyond their control. The cemetery itself is very peaceful and I really like that it's a sustainable site with unique options.

In unfortunate circumstances I came to know about Heritage Garden Cemetery. Allaspects of the services provided were top notch. We bought several spots in the niche wall. Debbie was so sweet to work with in planning the memorial plaque. She helped to bring my vision to reality. On December 24/22 we placed my Mom’s ashes. It was a day with chaotic weather and a delayed flight that Debbie promised she would wait for my family to arrive “even if it is dark, we will have the service today”. Debbie’s warmth and caring were heartfelt. I will never forget her kindness or her hug that day. The grounds are beautiful and well kept. I will visit often…

I’ve never seen a place like Heritage Gardens and am so glad that we found it! It’s a place where each member of our family - young and old - feels comfortable visiting. Besides the beautiful setting, there is a sense of respect and tranquility in the way the staff go about their work.We deeply appreciate the service given by each member of the HG team every step of the way. An amazing place. Debbie and her staff are amazing, kind and very thoughtful. Beautiful setting at a stressful time. Love the eco friendly environment. Along side you and go out of their way to make sure all is perfect.

This is an amazing place. The staff is so compassionate and helpful and everything went so smoothly. Trevor had the music ready and a tarp overhead in case it rained. It was all set up so nicely. It wasn't as sad as I thought it would be, however it was was an emotional event. The ceremony went smoothly and was so personal. I know my husband would have been very happy I chose the Willow Garden at The Heritage Gardens Cemetery as it is beautiful and peaceful. I now feel peace in my heart and I'm content with everything, visiting him at his resting place will be a pleasure. I was even able to plant a Hosta by his plaque. What a wonderful place! It's absolutely Heavenly!

We have been delighted with the service of Heritage Gardens Cemetery. From our first interaction with Andrew on our fact finding mission, we have continued to be very impressed. We learned about and decided upon a shroud burial for Don, our husband and father. This turned out to be a very unusual but amazing experience for us all. We chose Heritage Gardens for it's beautiful and peaceful grounds, and during the burial service we had 2 Canadian geese give us a fly pass, a deer grazing on the grounds and a bald eagle soaring above. Definitely the nature package. Whenever we visit, we see many people paying respect, visiting their loved ones, and enjoying the serene gardens. When we needed a headstone we stopped by the office once more. Debbie was welcoming and knew how to help us focus our ideas to create the perfect stone. During the back and forth process she was always very obliging. From our first interaction with Trevor to the graveside burial of our loved one, the staff at Heritage Gardens have been nothing short of amazing. Our family was shown so much kindness, compassion and dignity during our time of mourning. Trevor was a tremendous help and made this difficult process so much easier.
