Earl Marriott Secondary School
This is one of the schools of all time. They have teachers and students, there is a building that has rooms and they have a sports team that plays sports. Every 60 minutes spent there an hour passes by and the day eventually turns into night. This will definitely be a school to be remembered as one of the schools in surrey.

Not that bad. Being in french immersion is a challenge there. But some teachers are amazing. Ex. Mr.Gill. BROOOOOO when he’s leaves istg I Finna bawl my eyes out. And give him a porche for a goodbye gift. (Inside joke)

PICK UP YOUR TRASH, EMS!! I am disappointed that this school has had a litter problem for many years. There is often a trail of litter to and from the Circle K. Get it together, EMS!!

Some good teachers. Decent extracurriculars and teams. Pretty good area. Objectively inferior school to Semi and other local schools. Offers summer school so that’s a good thing. The building is old, dark, gloomy, and very prison-like. Many problems (mostly small things). Overpopulated.

EMS is a school... it is an entity like a city or community so a review is highly subjective. Many of the teachers are highly skilled and caring, some not. Some kids do really well, some struggle. Ultimately, a review on its own does not matter. It depends on your family and your student.

Great high school, graduated in 2019. Highly recommend taking the trades classes; automotive, welding and woodwork. The mechanic's co-op program was an amazing experience... shoutout to Mr. Harrison!

they don't spend money on whats need it, (most of the) french immersion are terrible, don't go into the washrooms, better yet don't go to this school. this school is waaaayyyy too over crowed, we're only supposed to have around 1200 kids, well we have 1900 and it keeps growing. some of the teachers are kind of a mess and a couple in particular who are AN ACTUAL MESS. please don't send your kid here if you want them to have a good career/good experience in highschool

Have fun on your first year, don’t let the student helpers get the whole class lost on the third floor. Lots of the teachers are incredibly bad (Ms. Biln, Ms. Wilkinson). If you got Vanstone as your teacher, don’t make him angry or he might throw your phone. If you’re lucky, you might have Mr. Kovits and Ms. Schellenberg who are pretty decent ( Ferguson as well). Would recommend going to Grandview instead.
