This company not only towed my car but everyone's car on a street they didn't even mention was being worked on, they didn't even mention that the street would be closed of for construction, just towed everyone's car and then we were charged over $200 to get our own vehicles back.

Awful and unprofessional. They towed my car to do road work without any signage or letter giving me a warning. Had to pay $250 to get my car back and they keep avoiding me.

I'm one of the residents on Northway Ave where the sidewalk installation has begun. The South Windsor Development company is responsible for this project.Notification of the work commencing was delivered door to door on Nov 1st by Dillon Consulting - however these notices were not secured to the doorways or sent via mail if the resident did not answer. As a result, several upper unit residents never received theirs - the letters blown away by the wind. None of the lower units (despite being registered as a split residence) received notice at all. Lower unit residents make up the majority of those who park on the road.Additionally, these notices were unclear about the timing and expectations during the roadwork (when it was simply recommended not to drive on the roadway vs. prohibited). Very disappointed in how notification was handled. I have spoken with Dillon consulting and hope that they will take steps to ensure that this doesn't happen again.GIP paving put up signage indicating that cars could no longer be parked along the road on Monday afternoon/evening (the signage did not indicate that vehicles would be towed instead of ticketed). GIP contacted Windsor Police to begin towing early Tuesday morning. For many residents who work from home, they had absolutely no opportunity to move their vehicles - nor any idea that they needed to because of the inadequate notification system. There was no attempt by workers to contact vehicle owners before initiating towing.After the vehicles were towed, no signage was posted in the area informing the (multiple) residents which towing company would need to be contacted to get their vehicles back. Having to call Windsor police to determine that their vehicles weren't stolen and to determine where they had been taken was a waste of city resources that could have been avoided with appropriate communication. Fees of over $200 were required to retrieve the impounded vehicles.GIP has avoided all communication from residents at this time. Absolutely unacceptable response from the company. Residents are now exploring legal recourse as a result of GIP's unwillingness to address what occurred.The South Windsor Development Company should take note - this was very poorly handled.

Without warning or notification, my car was towed (along with all the other cars on the street). Was charged $200+ to get my car back.

HORRIBLE company. Their snow plower scraped, dented and damaged my boyfriends BRAND NEW jeep renegade 2021. 5k worth of damage and they continuously call us liars HA. Their driver RAN from the scene. after searching for their company we have finally found them and got in contact. they proceeded by coming to look at the damages. left. and told us they'd keep in contact. they RARELY kept in contact with us. we had to call them multiple times after they ignored our emails regarding the next step of fixing our vehicle THEY damaged. later into the situation a man named Steve from coco paving told us we were LYING about them damaging our car. all this company does is damage others property and then LIE about it. this company is DISGUSTING. they have drivers that seem drunk WHILE driving a snow plow, and higher ups from the company telling us we are LYING about the damages. disgusting company. disgusting people working at this place. i don't understand how they do most of Windsor's work when they have drunks and liars working. if i could id give them a 0 star. embarrassing company. if you want some drunks and liars working on whatever you need done, this is the place for you. baffles me. the person whom disgusts me most is Mr. Steve. one of the higher ups im pretty sure.

Worst company ever to deal with. Home that was to be built brand new was supposed to be done by a certain date, and instead was prolonged for months. False promises and poor workmanship from all of the workers and employees. Seems like they hire people with no experience on minimum wage, so the effort to work isn't there, while the lack of good work is 100%. The office workers avoid your calls, never call you back and also make false promises. Aside from the house being finally completed, it never actually was completed. Things are cracked or broken inside and what was requested for the house wasn't even completed. It's been over a year!! Just continuous false promises to come back to fix. When the strong wind happened in Windsor a year ago, the shingles flew off. No remedy was offered. How can they continue to be in business ? They are the worst company anyone can deal with and should be reported to BBB. You would have to be severely ignorant to use this company...

Awful company. Nobody here takes accountability for their actions and they have no remorse. Their construction workers decided to start welding as I drove by on county road 22 causing damage to my vehicle. I’ve tried reaching out to the company multiple times and have been trying to get in contact with Eric Rivard and he’s been ignoring my calls and messages.

While they were repaving the road I live on I watched one of the workers from my front window kick a sizable rock (volleyball sized rock) onto my lawn then he instructed the steamroller driver to drive off path and compress the rock down into the grass.. they both laughed after it was done and i was left with a rock embedded into my front yard....As I went to dig it out I could see the tracks on my grass where he decided to ver off track to intentionally roll it over the got back onto the road.The rock was NOT in the way of getting the job done.. The employees intentionally made the choice to be destructive.Thanks coco paving!

One of their plows sideswiped me at a light and caused major damages. Driver didn’t stop. Company didn't help much and tried to redirect blame. Pretty sure driver may have been drunk.

Unprofessional contractors and inexperienced workers. I get the sense that COCO Paving hires high school dropouts.
