Very impressed first-time customer. Mike showed up an hour early (he called first to make sure that was cool) and endured with good grace my overly-affectionate dog! He was efficient, reassuring and most importantly, straight with me (Here's what I think the problem might be, here's what I'm going to do, here's what that's going to cost.) He had to cut out some drywall, so he had a number for a drywaller handy. I asked about another job that might need doing in the future, and he gave me a quote. Everything (bill, drywall reference, second job estimate) nicely organized on one piece of paper for easy reference. Top notch!

Michael has been to our house a few times and has always showed up on time, fixed the problem and cleaned-up afterwards. Scheduling was easy and straightforward and he was friendly, polite and upfront about costs.Would highly recommend the Irish Plumber.

Contacted the irish plumber after seeing their distinctive van in the neighbourhood. Had a clogged drain in a tenant's apartment and needed a new tap. They were very professional and completed the work promptly while respecting the tenant and the apartment. Would definitely recommend this plumber. Also nice to see that he was training a more junior plumber with no impact to the work. Very pleased with their work.

I had an urgent situation and the Irish Plumber was the only (of 5 plumbers called) that got back to me on the same day.I liked that I was able to communicate with them via text and they were always prompt and professional in their replies.Thomas was friendly, fast, and easy to deal with. I'm very happy with the work done.I do wish they took credit/debit cards, but I would certainly call them again (and happily go to an ATM), the next time I have a plumbing need.

My experience with Michael The Irish Plumber was extremely positive. He showed up when he said he would, was upfront, personable and professional. The job was completed meticulously, including cleanup. The invoice was reflective of price quoted at onset. The job was extensive and included an excavation. It was clear throughout that Michael was highly skilled and knew exactly what he was doing. While I hope not to have additional plumbing problems anytime soon, I would certainly hire Michael again if the need arose and would recommend his services without hesitation.

I had a previous problem with a neighbours tree roots that managed to make their way into my weeping tile. I had a company come in and fix it, but did more damage than good. 3 years later I noticed the front walkway sinking a bit. Michael came in with his camera late on a Sunday , found the problem and gave me the plan as to what would have to be done. The pipe would have to be replaced underground. I prepared the front for him to dig and he came in on a Friday and began the process, which was not easy, there were many obstacles he had to overcome, including not finishing in one day and working until very late to finish stage one. Saturday was a very rainy day and made things uneasy for me. Michael called to tell me not to worry, that he would be back on Sunday when it stopped raining. He was back with his great digging contractor Cliff at 8am and began working. The day was another difficult day, but that didn't stop either man. The job was perfectly completed and triple checked, including a power flush and 2 camera checks. Working at that depth [9 feet] with lots of water around can be very stressful but not for Michael. Both Cliff and Michael stayed until the ground was back as perfect as possible and I had to tell them to stop, that I was happy with the result. I will also add that there are not many companies in Ottawa that work this hard, for that long , on a Sunday on top of it and keep the same quoted price. I will never use another company for any plumbing needs I have in the future. Michael, the Irish plumber is the real deal. Thank you Michael for everything you did.Kind Regards,Bill

Michael is an exceptional and experienced plumber who does clean, high quality work. I had him in to fix a disaster kitchen sink drain which had been improperly installed and inadequately maintained. Plumbers are expensive, but I can say this guy is worth the investment. Listen to the advice provided by this Master Plumber - fix it the way he suggests so it is done right.

I would use The Irish Plumber in a heartbeat! Very professional, highly knowledgeable and MIchaelwas upfront about different charges for potential scenarios. What I really liked were the questions he asked about all the old and current plumbing that had been done over the years, as my home is older. Together we were able to pinpoint the source of the problem and he fixed it. Michael's cleanup was spotless. The experience was great!

I used The Irish Plumber to replace an old chrome drain pipe in the bathroom with a PVC drain pipe and replace the old leaking copper water line pipes going to the tap. Replacing the copper pipes required a new tap. And he had one in his truck that matched the finishing (chrome) of other accessories in my bathroom. Therefore the job could all be done right then on the spot. I also had him investigate a leak under the kitchen sink. Mike zeroed in on the problem, had the pipe part in his truck that needed replacement, and was able to make it fit by filing the part down.Very professional service, friendly and competent is how I define my experience. I will definitely make The Irish Plumber my go to plumber from now on!
