Excellent experience dealing with Mike from the start of the project with a site visit till the completion of project on schedule. Very professional and punctual and discussed various options along the way to create a brilliant lasting outdoor space.

First of all, I consider myself to be fair and decent person that tells it as it is. I hired MJC landscaping(Mike) to do some landscaping around my house and to do some trenching for my electrical business. I found him to be at times argumentative in front of my customers, late and disrespectful. I have neighbours that I wish I got along with but don't. Mike not only did not respect my wishes not to entertain their false narratives, he ended up siding with them when I have always paid him without asking, on time and have been forthright with him. Mike decides not to honor his commitment towards finishing the work at my residence and delay the finishing at my home last year because shockingly he states in a text he has made friends with the very neighbours that treat me wrongfully while expressing he has nothing against me. I was shocked and felt betrayed especially when I hired him and have done nothing to him to warrant such an action. I was going to write a review at the time describing my negative experience with him and decided not to. Today I had an associate call me and send a photo of Mike and another person outside of his company truck piggybacking trying to pull down one of my company signs. Mike, the same guy that said he wasn't returning because he didn't like drama but had nothing against me. I think this is a true reflection of the poor decision-making, unprofessionalism and character in one can you believe it head shrugging act. I did try calling him to ask about this stunt but he hanged up on me. So here I am texting this review wishing I could post the photo of this outrageous person trying to pull down my company sign running a professional landscaping company.

We hired Mike for the hardscape landscaping project at our new cottage on Lake Joseph.The project was challenging as it required a modern look combined with traditional Muskoka characteristics. Mike and his crew were up to the challenge. They were very professional, on schedule and payed meticulous attention to detail thus creating a result that we were extremely happy with and look forward to enjoying for many years.
