I have at different times bought parts, had repairs done and sought advice on moving a central vacuum unit. Bob and Mike were very friendly and I felt very honest in my dealings with them.

Proud to Deal with Bob!Bob, at The Vacuum Factory on Erin Mills Parkway, was such a huge help for me. Our Hoover Pet Car carpet shampooer motor had quit and replacement motors are virtually impossible to find. Speaking with Bob, I learner that these units are build to be disposable after about 2 years and that Hoover had stopped selling the motors forcing consumers to discard and re purchase.I am not a big fan of filling our landfill sites with plastic, especially if the plastic is like new but the electrical component is worn.Bob doesn't normally repair these motors but after both agreeing with our environmental concerns, he agreed to LOOK" at it.I disassembled my vac to remove the motor and quickly brought it in to his shop. After several days I received a call that the motor was repaired. For the price of 1/3rd the new vac price I hurried home to reassemble my unit to try it out.I was amazed by 2 things.1/ There were no extra parts left over2/ The vacuum operated fantasticallyThank you Bob for the caring and drive to work with me to keep this pile of plastic out of the landfill and for the great repair job.In 2 years

My 31 years old Kenmore Central vacuum unit stopped working and I got in touch with Bob to get this fixed. I dropped the unit around 11:00am and by 12:30pm I received a call from Bob explaining the issue in detail with different options for me to choose for the repair. I got the unit back around 4:00pm on the same day and the unit is like brand new after the repair. They are very customer oriented and treats their customers to the maximum customer satisfaction. Bob helped us repair our broken central vacuum Eureka Zuum for a very seasonable price instead of having to purchase for a new one. My husband called other stores and they all said it's probably the motor is dead and is not worth fixing it and offered their brand new vacuum with their special price.Bob was the only one who offered to test our unit free of charge to figure out the problem. Incredible service. I presumed I needed a whole new vacuum, but the very nice gentleman wanted to first know the situation with my existing vacuum in case 1) he could fix it and save me money, or 2) he could just sell me the broken part in case the rest of the parts were working and compatible. Very rare that you get that approach from vendors today. It turned out I just needed one part; so he saved me hundreds of dollars. I will certainly go to Vacuum Factory for all my future vacuum needs. Strongly recommend.
