I am surprised at the number of negative reviews. On reading them however, I note that not a single one talks about the quality of his work. They all seem to centre around personality (and one about price).I had work done about a year and a half ago and can say that not only was Rene professional but he really knew his stuff. Also, while I agree he might be direct in his manner (and maybe a bit free with his language), he was never rude in any way. We got along great (and still do) throughout the project.I needed an upgraded panel and sub-panel due to my daughter running a business from an outside trailer and due to an remodel of my basement. Cables were run to the trailer as well (and a new panel inside the trailer). Outlets were installed as needed in my basement.Rene is an expert in his field and did the job perfectly. He contacted Hydro on my behalf (as they had to also upgrade the exterior cables to my house). He knew what he was doing and made all the proper recommendations, including installing a surge protector at the panel (which actually saved my appliances when we had a lightning strike shortly afterward). All the work passed inspection with no issues (and the inspector said he never has any problems passing Rene's work). He even helped me save money by getting me to buy some of the breakers needed myself from Amazon. Overall, the price was very fair and well worth the final product. He is busy all the time (and told me about some of the poor quality of other's work he has run across). He told me some horror stories. You get what you pay for.I fully recommend him.

Contacted Rene looking to have a charger installed for a EV. Been looking at multiple quotes as one should do. Texted him explaining what I was looking for (hardwired charging station as I have a car port which is accessible). Asked me why I wanted to hardwire the connection.I replied that prior quotes I had received indicated that hardwiring was the cheapest option.Additionally, it makes the most sense for me and is what I asked for. Not to mention that by installing a outlet outside etc it will add to the cost of the install. A good proper charging station is already protected by a number of internal mechanisms. There is no need for a plug in outlet unless the manufacture requires it (which companies such as Grizzly do not) unless you want mobility.Once I had indicated that I had received prior quotes that were more economical, Rene basically said I was not serious and implied the quotes were not free". When I stated his statements were odd

Don’t ever fall for his quote. I called him for a quote to add one outlet in my basement and he gave me 80$. After installing he charged me over 300$.He is very rude and very unprofessional.

I emailed and asked for a quote from this place. He gave me the quote and respectfully said no. Then he emails me back with an insult. Then tells me I need to get my booster to keep COVID numbers down.Thank god he’s over priced. Not a respectful person to stay in business.

Had one of their trucks swerve into my lane and attempt to run me into the median for no reason at all. Nearly hit my car on purpose. Would have loved to have a 'chat' with this useless driver. Would not recommend this business at all if this is how their employees act.Licence plate beware: AV 68349

Absolutely unprofessional. I was looking for a quote on a job in London. Was great to send in the hourly pricing but when I asked for an estimated quote, the guy just dropped the call without even courteously explaining what the problem was. It was very disrespectful.

This guy is absolutely unprofessional. After being asked about the quote for the job, he sent text messages with extremely rude, vulgar and course words and language. One very profane word was used 20 times in one message. I do not understand how such a man can work with other people.
