Barbara and her team did an absolutely fantastic job moving my Mum from her home for over 30 years to a retirement home. It was a stressful and emotional time for all of us but the way Barbara's team took control and helped sort out all the stuff my mum would take with her was so helpful. The way they had my Mum's new place completely set up and looking like her home by that evening was truly wonderful. Barbara's team also did a great job getting my Mum's house cleared out and ready for sale. I highly recommend their services!

As I was getting ready to post my review I took a moment to read some of the other comments. I was completely and utterly shocked to read some of the unpleasant reviews recently left by other people.I have known Barb on a professional level for 5 years as my family enlisted her services to help my grandparents downsize and relocate to a new home better suited for them. Her kindness, patience, understanding attention to detail were impeccable. Not to mention the over and above amount of flexibility with scheduling, change of heart, among other emotional upheavals that come with such a life changing event.Most recently, we hired Barb to relocate my in-laws to a retirement community better suited for them and once again, Barb did not disappoint. This was more of a challenging move for her team as my in-laws had some difficulty remembering certain aspects of their agreement. Thankfully, Barb had everything documented and my husband was able to reassure them that they were in good hands and would be well taken care of.The professionalism, compassion... oh and dealing with all of this during a global pandemic.... just comes as second nature to Barb. I am fortunate to say that we have become friends over the past 5 years and I wouldn't hesitate for a second to recommend her services over and over again.Well done Barb and well done team! You make these difficult changes for our family so much easier, especially when we can't be together. Thank you again!

Barb and her team are amazing! They are so kind and patient with their clients and do a wonderful job of moving clients quickly and as stress free as possible. She offers years of experience and is so helpful in the downsizing process as well as leaving the new space so well organized with every single item unboxed and put in a place. All art gets hung, computer and electronics get set up, even the bed is made. It’s incredible to see a new space so move in ready. I highly recommend her services!

Barbara and her team are caring and considerate professionals who efficiently worked with our family to move my father from his home to a retirement facility. Barb met with us on multiple occasions and created a floor plan for his new residence. She assisted in sorting, removing and donating household items. Her team works on tight timelines and are respectful of our families wishes. The best part was that her team set up my Dad's new residence with all the designated furniture, art work and electronics before he moved in. I cannot speak highly enough about Barbara and her team. With their support the downsizing process and move to a new residence was much less stressful and resulted in a positive experience for all.

Barb and her team are extremely patient, caring, organized, and friendly. They provide excellent moving services to seniors and pay attention to all fine details so that their clients are left feeling satisfied with their services and at home in their new residence. In May 2021 my family hired Move Seniors Lovingly to move my grandfather from one room in a Chartwell facility to another room on the same floor in that exact same building. My mother and aunt met with Barb in person to discuss a quote. They were given a quote of $1,500 but when all was said and done, they were charged $3,500 even after they had all of the information of what they were hired to do.Now, the reason why my grandfather was moving was because my grandmother had very recently passed away (the week before). While Barb was packing up my grand mother’s clothes, she was TRYING them on. The utter disrespect is honestly unbelievable. Two members of my family physically saw her do it. They wanted to be there to pack up the very sentimental items. We are also missing a few items from the move.I do not recommend hiring this company at all. If, as a last choice, you do end up hiring this company, I STRONGLY suggest when you get your quote to get her to sign it, take a photo of it and ask questions. Also, if possible.. please have someone there to supervise these people taking “lovingly” care of your family members. Clearly there is no respect here.

Caring, organized, meticulous and honest are but a few adjectives I would use to describe Barbara. She holds herself and her team to very high standards in order to ensure that her clients are provided top notch service. Barbara goes above and beyond, often doing extra work for her clients after a move has been completed. Her personable nature and ability to connect with people is evidenced by the numerous clients who stay in contact with her! I would have no hesitation recommending the use of her services!

Barbara Mactaggart and her team provide outstanding packing/moving services to seniors. Barb is very personable, genuine, caring, and attentive. She is organized and gets the job done very efficiently with her clients best interests at mind and heart. Barb doesn’t just treat you like a client but more like a “friend”. Barb and her team do everything to meet the needs of their clients, from the art on the wall being perfectly hung to the closets being perfectly organized.
