This looks like the place for me. The staff and the nurses were or are so helpful and efficient with me. Best of all times occur at .Eau claire. I hope to jive in this beautiful community after the 1st of the new year. God has blessed me again and again. ✋ Best regards to all.

We have been at Chartwell since March/April 2022. Since arriving, the caregivers, management, and all staff have been so welcoming and supportive. My grandma had some pretty severe health issues that Chartwell assisted us in getting taken care of and 3 months later she is healthy, strong, and looking to enjoy a number of more years with us. Great communication, always heard, and they truly want their residents to be living the life they desire. Thank you!

Since helping my mother transition from her house into Eau Claire, our concern for her well being has improved dramatically. The attentive staff has allowed her to conduct the daily routine she had previously known, with all the safeguards and benefits she was no longer able to fulfill. My wife and I can confidently go away for more than a couple of days and not have to worry about how my mom is doing.

The staff are amazing here. My mother has been a resident for about 8 months- she has multiple health issues, and even as she herself has not come to grips with all that she needs care for, they navigate her medications and treatments and her mental health too. I highly - HIGHLY - recommend Chartwell to anyone that wants great one on one care for their loved ones.

This is without a doubt one of the most caring, respectful and helpful retirement living facilities in Calgary. My wife Alice and I had a difficult situation with her 90 year old mother due to her declining health. We were moving her from Vernon B.C. to Eau Claire and had secured her new apartment and moved in her furniture when a rapid change in her health made the move impossible. The incredibly wonderful Alexa that we dealt with was completely understanding of our situation and went that extra mile in providing us with a complete refund of our deposit with Eau Claire Retirement. We cannot say enough about the staff and the support we received during the entire process. They will always have our gratitude and recomendation with a 5 star rating.

My parents lived at Chartwell Eau Claire for 3 and 1/2 years, and I was pleased and impressed with the kind, professional care that was given them. From the amazing doctor to the director of care, to the receptionist, and even the cleaning lady; all took personal interest in my my parents. I have nothing but gratitude to Eau Claire and highly recommend them!

We moved my Dad into Chartwell Eau Claire in January 2023. My parents had been living in their own condo independently with Mom acting as Dad's primary caregiver because he has severe short term memory loss. My Mom suffered a fall in mid December 2022 that landed her in hospital and caused her to become completely bedridden. My daughter reached out to Chartwell Eau Claire and our first point of contact was Alexa Shaw. Alexa was so warm and welcoming from the moment we met her and after taking a tour of Eau Claire, we knew right away that this would be the right place for Dad. When you first enter Eau Claire - it feels more like a hotel lobby than a care facility. The staff are warm and caring and always available if you have a concern and they know the residents by name and are always happy to chat with them. The in-house doctor at Chartwell Eau Claire is wonderful and we were fortunate to be able to get Dad placed under her care. We feel that Chartwell is well managed, always clean, they encourage family and pet visits and most importantly they are concerned with the health and well being of their residents.Lori-Anne Sherwin

This place was truly a gem of a find. On short notice I needed to move my 90 year old Grandmother to a safe/respectable memory and dementia care facility. From the time we contacted Alexa to the day we moved in was 3 weeks. They are always friendly, helpful and available to address any and all concerns you may have about your loved one.The amazing staff turned my world right side up with their continuous and specially tailored staff and services (ophthalmologist/doctor/LPN/RN and numerous NA’s) provided my grandmother a respectable and dignified homey environment, that brought her out of her depression and has given me more time with my beloved grandmother. I included a picture that Alexa shared with me personally to provide relief that Grandma was doing better.Completely recommend, respect and forever grateful to Chartwell Eau Claire.

We had a very positive experience while my dad lived at Eau Claire - everyone who cared for Dad were patient and caring and the people at the Front Desk were friendly and informative. I highly recommend Eau Claire if you are looking for new home for your senior loved one!
