Beach Ave Bar and Grill
It’s the Cheers neighborhood bar but with dishes and cocktails that are a cut above the typical local “dive bar” genre. The food is delicious and always contains fresh ingredients. The cocktails by Tristan are divine and the menu is switched up often to keep it interesting (but you can still order off menu if you liked something that was rotated out). The vibe is super chill and relaxed but the standards for food and beverage are held high, making this a genuine neighborhood gem. Flora is the best server on the planet, my bf and I love when she’s on shift. If you’re a regular she will know what you want before you ask. Gorgeous views of Granville island and burrard street bridge and false creek marina, very fun to watch boats go back and forth.I enjoy coming here often and enthusiastically recommend

Decided to stop by and try this place for brunch.Let's start with the service. Right from the start the host greeted us with an amazingly welcoming energy and she happened to also serve our table, and did a brilliant job.I love Egg Bennies for breakfast and naturally decided on the Lox and Cream Cheese Benny. I asked for it to be prepared a certain way and that's exactly how it came. What really impressed me was the lox was fresh....yes! fresh!Rarely have I seen fresh lox used in breakfast items, and it was amazing. Makes such a huge difference. The Hollandaise was made beautifully different than the traditional. It had a hint of dijon with a cream base and sprinkles of spring onion. Honestly, this might sound cheesy, but the benny was put together like someone was painting their own little canvas. Every single ingredient was very delicately and carefully calculated and integrated with the rest. It had all my favourites: lox, cream cheese, red onion and spring onion, as well as capers. It tasted absolutely amazing! Even the tater tots were fresh.What else impressed me was the vibe, style and class of the place.It didn't feel like you were eating at a restaurant. It felt more like you were at someone's home who invited you to sit, enjoy their view while they make you something to eat. I loved that it was very non-commercial and very much personal. The extra effort, attention to detail and care you saw and felt constantly. Their coffee was also very good, served very tastefully.Looking forward to going back!

Beach Ave Bar and Grill
Stopped in for a late drink and bite to eat. Loved the fact that it’s almost October and you could still dine outside under the stars. Gorgeous views of the water, Burrard bridge and Grandville Island. Service was friendly and efficient. It was a Monday evening so not that busy. Ordered the Seafood Chowder which was a decent sized bowl of creamy goodness. Also had the prawn tacos. You got two tacos, and the shrimps were diced up with other vegetables. They too were delicious. Overall we had a great experience and will be returning to try other menu items on our next visit to Vancouver!

Cool location, lots of sun, right by the water. The burger came out looking a bit unappealing but caught me by surprise by how good it tasted. Excellent dirty fries and beer selection.

The location is great because it’s right off the marina so you have the breeze and it’s fun for people watching.We enjoyed some cocktails and wine.It’s a fun environment.Only two single washrooms for the entire place made the wait very long.

Great breakfast! Went here for breakfast with my partner and in-laws and it was a great experience. It’s right by the water with view onto some yachts and Granville island. The prices were very reasonable and the food better than expected - everyone liked it!

The service was so good, polite, and approachable. The location was so beautiful. But unfortunately we don't like the food so much. We ordered two items, fried chicken sandwich that was not so bad, but unfortunately one of the plates( I didn't remember the name: it was rice, chicken and salad) was so bad, the chicken tasted and smelled badly. The fries wes so good.

The food was superb! I had seafood chowder, my spouse had seafood club. Well priced and you can’t beat the scenery out by the water.
