Dr. Tom Tiedemann

I've been to a lot of dentists in my life but Dr Tiedemann is the best I've been to by far. He is so kind and gentle and explains everything to you. I'm terrified of dentists but I must say I trust Dr. Tiedemann 100%. He's amazing and I highly recommend him.

I used to see Dr Tom since I was young, he was great. Never a problem. I heard sadly he retired? Recently I tried to book a cleaning but was told I was cancelled as a client because I was argumentative in the office, which never happened.I have a very serious mask exemption that is accepted everywhere, in all hospitals ect. I mentioned it to them over phone before hand to which they said they used to accept but no longer did because of previous clients complaints. So because others were uncomfortable my health had to be compromised? No alternative? They then said I could hold one in front of my mouth and run to the back of the office from the door to make the others more comfortable, to which I denied...how ridiculous even if I could run, but I was barely able to at the time since my heart was failing, I was on medical work leave and all. The only reason for this visit was so I could go ahead with my heart surgery. So I just agreed to cover my face and be treated differently, without remark and waited in my car to be called in once they were ready for me unlike everyone else at the time. I thought we came to a solution and it was a successful appointment. Everyone seemed happy that day as I entered and left the office, even Dr Tom so I'm unsure where the issue was.. Infact,the following year, they called me again to book another cleaning, (no note on my file about being argumentative from my previous in person appointment) to which I kindly denied and said I would reschedule after restrictions were lifted and it was safe since they still wouldn't accept my exemption and there was no urgency for an appointment.So they would have had to cancel me as a client after I told them I would reschedule once restrictions were lifted because of my health condition, I don't know? Im still confused.....I tried to talk about it over the phone with the receptionist to resolve the possible misunderstanding..but no explanation, understanding, empathy or cooperation to resolve anything on her end. Just did her job, relayed the message.

I am very happy with the service here.. staff is friendly and easy to talk to.. I had my tooth abstracted and I didn't feel a thingGreat job Tom
