T took my elderly and disabled brother and sister-in-law there without an appointment to have their health card renewed. When I went in and saw the line up, I spoke with a young gentleman and told him that there was no way they could stand in the line. He arranged for them to stand in front and he had someone look after them right away. In total, we spent about 10 minutes for the attendant to process the firms and take their pictures. I was so thankful.

The service staff were all cool, friendly, and helpful... except for the irate manager who ironically does not know how to instruct her staff to manage a queue, which is a pretty basic thing for the service industry. If this was not a government-only sector, this place would be run into the ground by competition, but I suppose doing the minimum is all you need to do when you've got both a union and a monopoly. I feel bad for the building manager. Anyways, the lack of stars isn't so much for having to wait (5 hours... but they did tell me it would be a while), that I expected. It's for their absolutely horrendous appointment system that only let's you book one month out (good luck grabbing that due to it almost always having nothing available) and for more complicated issues, this is the only location in Brampton you can attend. If I had not been pressed for time, and for anyone else, do your best to get an appointment. Check online as well to see if there's another location you can go to. Otherwise, write an entire day off.

It is always better to have an appointment as, appointment is given priority as compared to walk-ins. We had an appointment at around 1:45 on Thursday afternoon, but we reached half an hour early. We were accepted and got the token number. We waited for around 30-40 mins after getting the token number for our turn and it was done within 10 mins.The staff is very good and fast, they try to help you as much as possible provided you are prepared and have all the documents with you. We had an amazing experience as there was no rush.

It opens at 8:30 AM and some of the employees came at 9:13 AM fair as per their shift may be however even after reaching they could see lot of people were waiting and two customer service agents were just talking to each other and discussing their weekends as am talking about Monday morning and third person who was serving a candidate also prefer to join to chit chat about weekend. Please improve your customer services here. There should be supervsior pushing agents to speed up their work. I hope you take this review seriously. Thanks

I went with appointment, if you get a slot please go with appointment. Else too much time waste.For new health card application make sure your employment letter has all details as per photo attached and employment letter should be with current date.All the best.

Extremely poor experience. Multiple people working" at the counter with no clients in front of them. Multiple unfilled counters while the line goes out the door and down the side of the building.The good? The ability to leave."

There’s no point of taking appointments here, even after taking appointment i have waited for more than an hour. I asked the receptionist about it, she said we are behind the schedule and staff members are not available since noon because of lunch time. I hardly can see only one or two workers working for more than 50-60 people. Walk-ins are getting mixed up with appointments hence appointments are getting all delayed and have no priority given. All staff members are taking their lunch breaks at the same time. They should be gone one by one to fasten the process. The staff were gossiping with each other and not at all serious about the work. No respect for people’s time, giving more than 30-45 mins and even more for each person. I booked the appointment 4 weeks ago but the wait at the time of appointment was similar as of the walk-ins.

Had a perfect experience. Got all my work done very quick. A representative named Lisa helped me and she was extremely polite and understanding; she knew her work well and did everything accurately.

It was good to b there. It’s always better to hav an appointment … the staff especially Lisa .. were very cooperative and wonderful. The front desk boy who issues tokens was remarkable.

Only 3-4 counters work of total 9, rest are empty.On top of that the staff if super slow and keep vanishing for breaks every 15-20 mins.Absolutely no respect for people waiting and their time.The service on Chrysler is much much better.
