Corduroy Suites at Gibbard Block

One of my favourite places to stay! The rooms are spacious, clean, and comfy. The area is great too. There are lots of places to eat and drink, and you close to the river valley. The prices are also reasonable. I highly recommend staying here next time you're in Edmonton or want a great staycation.

This was an excellent stay.The rooms are nice and clean and well looked after, all amenities you could need are available. Very nice and private.Even though there are other people staying in the building the room was always quiet.It's also right by the river!

Host is an excellent communicator, making it easy to book and interact. Space is beautifully removated, with laminate floors, bold soothing colours, semi-firm memory foam mattress, clawfoot tub; every detail is impeccable! 4-person suite has a murphy bed so it feels very spacious. Impeccably clean and bright; renovated historic building. Inexpensive; great value! Staying here in the future!!

Easy to book, super clean and cozy inside with a sweet restaurant underneath. Tommy kept us informed with info we needed beforehand. Loved it!

Great place for a staycation or a night away. I found the booking process very efficient and the area is lovely ( try out Fox Burger, Bodega, Mandolin Coffee). The rooms are thoughtfully designed as well.

I have stayed in many Airbnb places in different parts and I must say that these suites were most well organized.They are very conveniently located and the layout of suites is perfect with charging plugs close to your bedside, ample storage closets, clean and well stocked bathroom and kitchen.For me the elevator didn’t work but I am sure it does work as there are countless offices in the building.Coffee and food is just within the building. Cool

The room was clean, quiet, and super comfortable, the restaurant downstairs had great food and good beer as well! Pricing was very reasonable, would definitely stay here again!

I am so glad I came across this place! First off the location was perfect. My daughter was at a tryout for Concordia University and it was a 4 min drive down the street. Booking was really easy, pricing is awesome. Checking in was clear and concise. We ate at Fox Burger at the base of the building and it was delish! There is also the coolest wine/liquor store at the base as well. The unit we were in was amazing, a murphy bed, eating bar and all of the items needed to cook and clean up after! Love the claw foot tub and the Rocky Mountain Soap products throughout the unit. It was clean and modern. We had an issue with the heat in our unit. Tommy the owner was extremely responsive, helpful and caring. I cannot thank him enough for everything that was done to rectify the issue. I would definitely recommend staying here and I to will be back.
