Dollarama

Tried to buy a gift bag for a liquor bottle. Picked one off the shelves took it to the till and the teller told me I couldn't buy it as it came in pairs. I told her it was hang up by itself but she told me too bad. I went back and searched for two bags together and couldn't find any of the same type, so I took two of another kind, took them to the till and waited in a lineup again and bought them. I went out to my car and put the bottle in the bag I bought and drove to the office I was going to drop off the gift. When I picked it up off the seat it fell throughthe bottom of the bag, thankfully on my car seat and not on the road.

Love it here! Clean and organized. Can be busy but theu are really good about making sure there are enough tills open at that time.

Good place to find some inexpensive everyday items like plastic dishes, kids arts and crafts supplies. You need to be careful on brand name items as they may appear cheaper but are in smaller sizes and may cost more per ounce.

I came in the other day with my mother so that i could pickup supplies for an upcoming garage sale. I couldnt find those big sheets of paper, so i asked a nearby staff member. This employee was extremely polite! His tone of voice, his attitude and the way he spoke to us, he was just awesome all around! Then we ran into another employee, and he was just as polite and friendly as the last fella! I mean they even referred to my mother and i as ma'am! I never ever expected that dollarama would have the best customer service in town! My mother even said that it brought her back to the good ol' days" when if you had a bad attitude/customer service you were repremanded if not fired for it! Also

I love the dollarstore!! I love the little trinkets i can get there or Mugs for DIY projects! However the last tine i went the cashier had the worst attitude, made snide remarks and just was not friendly what so ever. Kinda sucked because everytime i go am always super happy but by the time I left after that interaction I felt rather down. People have that affect on others... At least try to smile maybe.

Love this store .has all my dog's needs

I’m absolutely disgusted with the staff in the store today. A lady had bought a lot of breakable jars, she had asked for a box, she was told they didn’t have any. She then asked if she could take a cart out or even a little basket. She again was told no. Not once did any of the staff offer to help with lady out. What happened to customer service? The cashier tells me, she’s only an employee. Well do your job in customer service, and provide that customer service. It was terrible.

Very well stocked and clean store, found everything I needed for my Christmas wrapping. Not only did they have all my supplies I needed, the price was sooo very reasonable. Cashiers were very pleasant and pushed us all through very quickly and efficiently. Would definitely shop there again.

Clean store. Little bit of everything. Prices are pretty well the same as always. But that sameness. Allows you to find what you want quickly
