We've been travelling up to The Old Post for years with same group and I know that the experience is the highlight of the year for all of us. A warm friendly staff, great guides, owners that feel like part of our family, fresh walleye for shore lunch every day and GATORS ON A FLY!! . Our conversations for the June outing begin at the Christmas parties in the previous year. Perfection.

This is one of the best fishing trips I've ever been on. Its the full experience. You escape the rest of the world and get to focus solely on the fishing and the wilderness experience. The guides know the lake inside and out and the rest of the staff do everything they can to make sure your experience is the best.

I have had the privilege of visiting the Old Post Lodge with my family for a little over a decade. Each year the fishing, food and fun times seam to get better and better.Last summer our guide was even willing deviate from the standard shore-lunch menu to make a Fried Walleye Tacos. Yummm!

I've been a guest at the Old Post numerous times. Summer 2021 was the most recent. The staff are friendly and try, but management is moody and rude at times. No internet (as advertised), pool table in the bar broken/not usable, cabins had plumbing/maintenance issues, and they lost my fishing gear on our way out somewhere between the boat ride from the camp to the airport @ Pickle Lake. They say they found it and would be sending it to me, but that was a year ago and I still don't have it back.....The fishing on Lake St Joseph is outstanding, but the whole experience was mired by these incidents.

This place is incredible. The location, grounds, owners, staff, and food are top notch; the fishing is world class. You can't find a better place to fish all day then relax and enjoy family and friends, both old and new. I have been going here for over two decades and couldn't imagine a better tradition! Special thanks to the Grace family and all who have made it so special.

The time of my life...every time I go. Been going to Old Post for a few years and can't imagine going any place else. World class fishing for walleye and pike! Comfortable accommodations and unbelievable meals. The Grace family has created a top notch facility and their hospitality is second to none! Thank you for the memories you have helped create and I look forward to many more in the future.

Our family has been going up to Old Post Lodge for about 20 years. It's one of the best traditions we have. Outstanding fishing, food, service, and fun. Last year was one of the most memorable, as our trip coincided with the mayfly hatch. I've never caught so many walleye in all my life. I look forward to when I can bring my own kids up and keep the tradition alive.

Spent the last 4days in fishing heaven at Old Post Lodge. Best freshwater fishing ever - quantity and size of pike and walleye were amazing. Very comfortable accomodations, friendly staff, great food. 10 out of 10!
